Thank you for your reply, we will be using a laptop to fill in the Barbados form.
Thank you

Hi everyone,
We are booked on a Caribbean Cruise on Arvia early next year and looking
on P&O website at the embarkation form for Barbados we have to upload a
copy of our picture with signature from our passport. Being in our early 70s
and not very techy what is the easiest way to do this. Don't say ask a teenager (haha)
as we don't have grandchildren to ask. We assume we only have to do this for arrival
in Barbados at the start for the cruise and don't have to fill in another one at the end.
Thank you.

grapau27 glad you enjoyed your Ruby wedding anniversary cruise on Britannia. Your photos brought back memories of our Ruby wedding cruise also on Britannia in 2017 in the Caribbean. We also dined in the Epicurean on our anniversary. As we where in a suite we also had breakfast in there every morning, which is a lovely start to the day.
Keep safe

Hi all
Posted a comment about receiving a surprise cheque from Carnival for £13.50
E-mailed P&O and received a reply. It seems that when we first made the booking (via Thomas Cook at the time)
The amount we paid as the deposit was slightly over the 15% required and they have returned the difference the
balance still being held as FCC. Having gone through the paperwork and finding a calculator they are in fact correct!!
Every cloud has a silver lining as they say.
Stay well everyone - we will be back on the ocean at some point in the future 🤞🌴🛳️

Hi all
We received a cheque from Carnival yesterday (Sat) for for the grand total of £13.50
We had a cruise booked for Iona in August and P&O still have our deposit (FCC) we cancelled before full balance was due.
The booking ref. with the cheque matched that of the cruise but no explanation of why £13.50
Any idea - has anyone else received any unexpected cheques??

Hi all,
Thank you all for your advice and recommendations you have given us plenty to think about.
The reason hubby has concerns about leaving car keys is that we live about 40mins from
Manchester Airport and always use Airport only taxi co. and have sometimes heard on local news about cars
being left in dubious places which are mainly from 'meet and greet' companies.
(Saab4444 We also hoping that we will not be using masks in summer 2022 but one never knows
with the idiots about at the moment)
Thanks once again to everyone and keep well and safe (with your mask on)😷

Hi all,
As the summer 2022 cruises are hopefully out soon we will be looking at using our FCC for that summer.
We were booked on Iona August and it would have been our first time cruising from Southampton as
we have only done fly cruises also we had booked our travel down with Intercruise.
As we still want to cruise on Iona, and we don't know what the Covid situation will be, Hubby suggested
we could travel down by car the day before and stay somewhere over night near Southampton rather than possibly
spend 5 to 6 hours (with stops) on a coach wearing a mask!! 😷
What are your recommendations for doing this regarding parking and leaving your car at Southampton.
Hubby is not keen on having to leave car keys with anyone as you don't know where your car may end up.
eg. Is there a designated P&O car park if you select the free car park when booking or is this done through a third party
if so is there a shuttle service?
Are there private car parks near by that can be booked independently rather than take the free parking when booking or
are there any hotels that let you leave your car with them?
Thanking you and all best to everyone and you are well. 🍷🍺

Hi all,
Thinking about booking for a Christmas or New Year cruise and was wondering
what happens with Christmas Dinner or New Years Eve dinner if your are on
freedom dining and are the bookable restaurants open as usual on these nights. 🌲
Thanking you

Northern Break - Wigan whats wrong with Wigan, we are very exotic - as our user name suggests
(Tongue in cheek) we are only an hour from the sea, but the Leeds Liverpool canal might be a tight squeeze.
Yes the pier is a bit short but I'm sure we could manage!!! No tenders required.😂😂

Thank you both for your response - that's great😎

Hi All,
We have done Fly Cruises before, but we have just booked our first cruise from Southampton for next year.
We know our pick up will be from Horwich Bolton near the football stadium, but don't know exactly where
(as yet) if anyone can give us a bit more info it would be appreciated.
Thanks alot
-
Hi all
Contemplating our first Southampton cruise. Both CC [via P&O] and Independent leave from Bolton at different pickup points,
is there any pro's and con's with using either company.

Hi all
We are thinking of an Iona Fjords cruise in August 2020 for a significant birthday.
We usually choose Adult ships or cruise out of school holidays, just wondering if there
would be a lot of children on the ship at this time or do the Fjords not attract a lot families.
We are not adverse to children being on the ship but would not like it to be more
children than adults (if you know what I mean).

Hi All,
We are on a 14 night cruise on Oceana in May which is a 7 night back to back.
Will this mean we will have to do two muster drills or only the one on the day we arrive??
-
thank you for the link it was very helpful,
thank you
-
We will be on the Oceana 2nd May E911 for 14 nights from Malta.
As this is a 7 night back-to-back cruise, we know there will be 4 formal nights,
2 each week but will this include 2 Black and White and 2 Tropical (one for each week)??
As we have only done straight 14 nighters and not back-to-back.
