I am cruising the Mexican Riviera with the Miracle next week, I would like to know which side of the ship will see the Arches from the balcony when cruising into Cabo San Lucas from Long Beach.

Prior to our cruise, we got e-mail and phone call from Carnival not to come to the Long Beach Port until 2-3 pm check in time. That was a joke, by 1 pm I looked from Sun Desk, almost no one come in anymore.

I got to the port by 11:15 am, and was on the Lido deck by noon for lunch. But the stateroom was not completed until 2 pm. It was OK. :)

Saw on the Carnival website for the Cruise offer "$50 On Board Credit plus $450 Fun Select Rate" Will the Fun Select Rate show on the cruise document, or it is automatically reduce from the total fare? very confusing :confused:

I need help to understand the Carnival Offer. When I booked my cruise, I did not notice that what's Carnival offer to me, I just completed all the ?? that prompted me during the booking time on Carnival.com, such as VIFP#, State Resident and 55+, thought that by answering all the questions, I will get the best rate. Now, I noticed Carnival offer Fun Select Rate PLUS $50 on board credit for the same cruise, date and booking period I have.

I called Carnival, by calls were routed to the same rep that keep telling me that I already got a good rate without looking at my booking.

I understood that the On Board Credit will show on the cruise document, how about the $450 Fun Selected Rate should show on the cruise document too?

Hi, 2 of us will sail the Carnival Miracle in May, Please tell me how to get to Pulmonia, is there any tour that I can find when the ship docked? Thanks

Hi Larry, we used them last Sept n will likely use them again this Oct . We did a 1/2 day tour around Barcelona with Christian in his Merc, pick us from the airport visited Casa Mila, Mountjuic, Parc Guell & Santa Maria del Mar, drove around Eixample, Port Olympic N Sagrada Familia before depositing us at our hotel. We also joined 4 members in our roll call and did a great Cava n Monserrat Tour in a minivan.

Both drivers cum guide are english speaking and did their very best to show us around, amiable to our needs, pick us & drop us off wherever we want when possible. What a lovely start to our Solstice cruise !

We are traveling to Monaco on October 2, 2012 via the Carnival Breeze.

 

I'd really like to go to Nice, St Paul de Vence and possibly Eze. We have all day in Monaco and my question is will we have time?

 

Further, can anyone local recommend a non touristy place to eat in Nice? I'd love to have some fois gras while actually in France :)

 

Lastly, those of you that have done this, do you have any great tips on tour companies? I know they are sticky about posting tour companies, but I am in need and asking. I think that's ok :)

 

We did this cruise last year on magic but Monaco was cancelled
