We did a great shore excursion this morning called Black Bear, Wildlife & Nature Walk. It was amazing! One of my favorite shore excursions ever. Because it was raining we saw so many black bears and 4 baby bears. Last time I came to Alaska I only saw 1 bear so this trip made up for it. I am so happy to hear this, because I booked that same excursion, and since it was a bit pricey, I was worried about being disappointed.  My biggest goal with this trip is to see some bears (and whales) so I'm very excited!!! 🙂

Thanks for all the great information; I'll be sailing on 9/5.  Was there any final confirmation on how many passengers were on your sailing? I read in the thread somewhere that it was upwards of 3,000; surprising, since multiple TA's have said they are running lower capacity than that. Did the ship feel crowded?

I"m booked on the NCL Joy in March, and I was interested in ParrotheadKev and his thoughts on the balconly itself for your cabin?  I am booked in the exact same cabin, we wanted to be near the District Brew House and it looked like the larger balcony was a bonus! But is it covered, or open to the people above? I'm getting conflicting info on that. Also is it just two chairs, or is there room for more than two?

Nice!! I am hoping to do that one in 2019 but it still had not been released yet... I'm starting to worry they aren't doing it again.

I can't imagine they will eliminate this itinerary, they always have at least a couple. They should come out with something soon on that.

Following. I'll be on the Legend Hawaii cruise from Vancouver - Honolulu on 9/13/18 sailing. Crossing my fingers for a poolside movie screen! :)
