  1. Hi there! Enjoying this freezing rain today I’m sure [emoji15]

You will love her! you feel like you’re on the Allure with a few changes here and there.

I quite enjoyed the ride in to work this morning, the roads were actually quite light on traffic.

We really liked the Allure a few years back, so I'm sure we'll enjoy the Oasis and the minor differences between both.

  2. Yes, those are the same thing. It is basically two lounge chairs - the same ones that are in various spots throughout Labadee for free - put together, and then a half moon looking shade tent above the lounger. That way you get ample shade where there are no trees, although you do have to adjust them a bit as the sun moves during the day. And, yes, these are only on Adrenaline Beach.

The RCCL website for us was a bit confusing. We were looking at doing this and then ultimately decided against it. The website asks for the number of people (not the number clam shells). So, if you type in 2 people since there are 2 loungers per one clam shell, it actually gives you 2 clam shells (4 loungers) - and charges you twice as much.

Yes, we noticed that on the site how confusing it was for the booking. At this time, we have one booked, but we may or may not cancel it before we leave. Still have a few months to decide.

Thanks again for the information, it's been very helpful.

  3. Thanks for the review, it will be very helpful.

Just a quick question to make sure I understand. You can rent a "Beach Lounger for Two" from RCCL's site. Are these the same as the clamshells you mentioned above? Are those only available on Adreneline Beach?

  4. I understand now they don't provide shampoo and conditioner other than some shampoo/body soap in dispensers on the wall. Is that true? Could you get some from your cabin steward? Any shows we shouldn't miss? Any other secrets to avoid any crowded situations? Thanks!

Yes, it's true. We were on the following new years cruise, and got some from our cabin steward.

  5. Here is a shot of the back side of the starboard hump on Brilliance which has similar balconies to what is on the front except the far left balconies for cabin 7610 is wider as it is an accessible cabin. Look at the balcony for cabin 8604 above it to see where the partition would be on the front for cabin 7592.

Cabin 7606, on the right, and 8600 above it have the same small size balcony as does cabin 7596.

Here is a shot of the front of the hump on Radiance from a higher angle above. Balcony for cabin 7594 is the middle one.

As you can see in both of the above shots the balconies for cabin 7608, 7610, 7592 and 7594 over look the angled end of the life/tender boats cover.

Thank you for the pic's, gives us a good idea of what to look forward to.

  6. Thank you very much for the review so far.

Alaska is on our bucket list and I've always been curious about how the Cruise tours work.

We will be sailing on the Radiance next year in Australia/New Zealand and love finding any and all info available on this ship. She is a beautiful one. Can't wait to sail upon her.

Looking forward to the rest of your review.
