The Ecstasy does not have a steak house. You can order steakhouse entrees in the regular dining room for an additional $20.

We ordered the lobster on Christmas. Unfortunately the chef was not in good form that night. The lobster was charred and dry for both of us. We should have sent it back. The MDR food was always very good.

My husband carries a pocket knife in his bag. Will that be allowed? We are sailing on the Ecstasy in 5 days.

We will all arrive in Jax the night before. We are staying at the airport Marriott and  Hampton Inn.

There are 17 of us and we are so excited. My daughter-in-law is nervous about the kids going to carnival camp. How can we reassure her that they will be safe?

We are cruising to The Bahamas at Christmas. We would like to cruise to Canada next year. Does anyone know if Carnival will add cruises to Canada?

I have never found the need to bring my own cup or soap. A shoe hanger is totally optional as is potpourri.

I was searching online to book a cruise for 16 family members. I booked the first 2 cabins . When I tried to book the others,I couldn't find cabins near the first 2.. I called and talked to a PVC. He was great. He got us 4 more cabins booked on the same deck . We are also in the same hallway. Those additional cabins didn't show up online.

I always wear a long evening dress/gown and hubby wears a suit on elegant nights. Wrap in plastic or in a garment bag. Dressing up is one on my favorite parts of cruising. It brings up images of more sophisticated and refined times. It makes it special.
