Hi Marcia,
We are paying $1,500 for a 4 person van for a full day in Provence.

"I think these threads are very useful as well. We will be asking others on board. But I will say that the article that was posted was very helpful as well. I like the thought that while we are interviewing them that they should want to interview us as well so they learn who we are. Thank-you all."
What article??

Thank you all for responding to my question. I learned a lot from your answers.😃
Your answers saved me $500.🤑
I did change my TA and found another who will not charge any fees😊 but he hasn't offered any refunds yet.
Maybe there could be some type of learning tool on this blog, so that people who are new to cruising don't get blind sided. Or is there one already?
Previously I did get OBC, but it was non-refundable. There isn't too much on the ship to purchase. We spent about $100 on shampoo and lotions🙄🤪🤔.

My travel agent recently raised her fee from $300 to $500 to book a cruise for us. We chose the cruise line, the ship, the itinerary and the date and provided her with this information.
Would like to know what is the average travel agent fee?
Would we be better going directly through the cruise line?
Thank you.

I know you can purchase cigarettes at the pool bar on the Explorer. I do believe they were duty free, just not 100% sure

Thank you for your quick replies.
Is there a place to sit in the "aquarium" or the "igloo? 😄
Are they usually packed or empty?

Hello,
Explorer smoking areas
Please don't throw things at me because I have a question about smoking.🚬
What time does the Connoisseur room (the club for smokers) open and close?
Is the smoking area near the pool enclosed or out in the open?
Any other areas where a person can smoke?
Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your ideas.☺️

Thanks. I really wanted to read some magazines on sea days. Do they sell them in any shops?
-
Thank you!

Has anyone used the library on Explorer? If so, is it stocked with newer books and magazines? Can you remove the items from the library?
Thank you

Thank you

The ppgh below outlines the original benefit, but what I read was that now that laundry is free for ALL passengers (not just concierge and above) that those passengers were entitled to a $100 cruise credit
This is what I thought was a new benefit:
Don't forget the $100/pp shipboard credit (given as an offset to the "loss" of a laundry benefit since now everyone gets laundry included)
Onboard laundry and valet services, including pressing and dry cleaning, are available with charge and may be arranged through your stewardess for same-day service. In addition, there are self-service laundries (location varies by ship).

I saw the paragraph below on a Regent blog, but now I am unable to find it. Did anyone else see it? If so, could you tell me where. Our travel agent needs to know in order to see if we are eligible for the credit. Thank you
Don't forget the $100/pp shipboard credit (given as an offset to the "loss" of a laundry benefit since now everyone gets laundry included) and 2 more hours of ship-to-shore phone service (3 total hours). Even if you use Skype or other forms of wi-fi calling, the STS phone is always a better connection than via wi-fi (uses a separate satellite connection, or at least use to).

I would like to know which cabins are still available on the RSSC Explorer for the Feb3rd-Feb 14th , 2022, trip to th
e Caribbean. Is there a way to do that on-line?
-
I'm curious, what would a "very special item" be?
-
Thanks to all that responded. My sister loves oysters on the half shell. Do you think I could ask for that? On that day we will be in Dubrovnik.
-
Thank you. The birthday is on the second day of the cruise. I wonder if that would give them enough time.
-
😄 I am going on a cruise Aug 2021 on the Mariner. While on board I would like to plan a special celebration for my sister on her 70th birthday. Did any of you plan an extra special Occasion? Do you have any ideas of what is possible or what may be considered too outlandish to request. Thank you for any ideas.

I'm sorry I didn't specify either raw or cooked. I meant raw.

Oh-that is great news! YUM!!! 😊
Navigator Smoking areas
in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Posted
I found the statement below on the RSSC Navigator website. Is this the most up-to-date information? Where would I find the Galileo and Connoisseur Clubs, i.e., what decks?
On the Seven Seas Navigator smoking is only permitted in
Galileo's (outdoor one side designated area), Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar)
Cigar Smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club on applicable ships and the designated area on the opposite side of the Pool Bar.
Pipe smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club. Pipe smoking in open deck areas is considered an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.
Thank you.
