In the rental section, the large print ports are the ones with kiosk.

Special Needs at Sea has a list of kiosk on their website. There is one in Ft Lauderdale.  Wish there was one in San Francisco.  son was there I. December and saw it at the pier. I would call, they are very helpful.

Think I'll purchase a 12 pack of water for in our cabin for $7+ and a  coffee card for DH.  I can only drink one cup a day at most so will pay as I go.

Bed rental depends on cruise line.  Special Needs told  me that neither Princess or HA allowed.  Went with lift chair on Princess as this was next best option for Alaskan trip.

Princess told me they could but depends on port.  We will be going from San Francisco. Not going until 2021 so have not booked yet.  Will be booking balcony HC cabin as soon as cruise dates are published.  But with additional rental costs, did not want the additional cost of mini suite of not necessary.

Would two scooters(1 regular,1 xl) fit in a HC on Princess or do we need to go up to a mini suite?  Plan is to rent two scooters and a recliner.  Hopefully there will be enough space.  Have two years to work this out.

Have been checking into this option,  A bed is removed and replaced with chair.  Leaving one twin bed for cabin mate.  Does anyone know how large these chairs are, my DH will be using instead of hospital bed and he is a .large man.  Princess will also put a wedge onto bed to elevate head.  Contact your cruise line 's accessiblilty department for what they offer.

Kiosk only available in Seattle on west coast.  I believe Ft. Lauderdale also.  They have a list of their "white glove service" locations on their website.

What,if any, problems has anyone had using rental scooters onboard Star Princess.  My DH and I are in planning stage for Alaskan cruise and will both need help with mobility due to health issues.
