Hi everyone.

Our ship, MSC Meraviglia, will be docking at St Petersburg on July 10th. It 's a wednesday.

The ship excusrion program offers 2 tours with an inside visit of the shurch, which I really want to see.

However the church is closed on Wednesdays (official church website). A local tour told me that access inside the church was possible nonetheless on wednesdays for group trous of more than 50 people.

Can anyone confirm this ? Has anyone been able to go inside on a wednesday ?

Also for MSC excursions do you have to pay anything extra, on top of the excursion price , for visa ?

my husband, two kids aged 8 and 11 and myself have booked a Fantastica cruise to the Baltic in July aboard the Meraviglia.

we did not take any drinks package as it's just too expensive.

. we will indulge in a glass of wine once or twice that we'pay as we go, that should be enough.

what about water at the restaurant in the evening? I guess we'll have to pay for a  water bottle, but can we keep it if we don't finish it, or do we have to buy a brand new one every day? I' m not trying to be cheap but just trying to evaluate the overall cost of the whole thing!

Hi everyone,

I will be taking a baltic cruise on MSC Meraviglia on July, 6th. We disembark at Kiel on Saturday, July 13th at 7:00 am.

I am having trouble anticipating the time it will take to get off the boat, I would like to get a 11am train, knowing that we dock at the  new harbour that is 20mins away from the central station?

Is there generally a long queue for the customs? can we self disembark ? (I want to keep my luggage with me as last time MSC broke my suitcase)

Meraviglia has 5000 passengers on it, so I guess it will take time, but how long? I called MSC but they said that with our Fantastica package we cannot get priority to disembark.
