I will be fine as long as they still have Mccallan 12 year old Scotch in the Retreat Lounge like we had on the Reflection last year.😁

My wife happily reports that they had plenty. That is her scotch of choice! 😎

  2. I always went to a bar or a server at my chair and received two drinks (the second for my wife, who also had the drink package) without ever being asked for a second card (or just my room number). I believe they can see that our stateroom has two people, each with the bev package.

We were on Reflection 2 weeks ago and pre-cruise we were warned here on CC that Celebrity no longer carries Zacapa. They were using Bumbu Rum at the World Class which caught a bad rap from some CC posters. To be honest I wasn't disappointed.

There were at least a dozen bottles of Zacapa 23 and a couple of Zacapa XO onboard the Equinox on my last cruise this March 18-27th. I used a majority of my OBC on the upcharge for it, as it's well worth the cost! There is hope! 🙂

  4. I'm wondering if it was because of the port on that day?

My wife and I were on that cruise and docked in Curaçao that evening. We were off the ship for dinner and every place within walking distance was packed with people eating dinner. Possibly Celebrity planned for this and had scaled back their menu onboard? We've never seen so many people off ship for dinner in Curaçao!

A related question if you don’t mind. How can a photo be added to the check in after the fact. Didn’t want to take a selfie as suggested by the app  but wanted to upload a stored photo another day. Now I can’t get back to that part of check in.  Thank you!

You can do it through a browser. Sign in and select Check-In. Then edit your info.

I’m signed up but based on these replies I may cancel.  As said I could just check out a bar with my premium package.

agreed. I was thinking the same. They’d have the same scotches, but would be free (or nearly free) to drink. I can Google anything I’d like to learn about any of them…

  7. There should be an email sent a few minutes later, titled “Guest invoice for reservation ID…” That email will have a PDF attachment with your full invoice.

Unless that’s because we always pay in full when booking? 🤷‍♂️

I think it might matter to a person with mobility issues.  If you're on Deck 10 and the embarkation is deck 4, the stairs might prove a challenge and prior arrangements may have to be made.

Well, that’s enough internet for today! #jfc

Not sure you can call them a theme party and I haven’t been on a Celebrity Cruise in 2 years? I know sucks!! But anyway They have a Full Moon Party by the pool later at night where you can get out and dance to live music. Was always fun, then the Silent Disco Night which we like where you dance with headphones on by the Martini Bar or Atrium.

But things change maybe they are stopping these due to Covid.

    Fun times.

Thankfully, they had both of those (Silent Disco twice!) on our Reflection sailing April 9th.

  10. Follow-up on my question...

Just disembarked from the Reflection this past Monday. The wife and I enjoyed the Ensemble lounge a lot. Though it wasn't as good as Rendezvous, it was a great place to relax, have a few drinks, and listen to music. The only downside is the bar is in the middle of the room, so a lot of the seating is blocked from seeing the stage. We found seats right next to Murano's door, where we had a side view of the musicians. Bartenders were both amazing and kept our wine glasses full all night.

Side note: Nikia, the single musician this trip, was AMAZING!! She is so very talented and knew almost every song request we threw at her. 🙂 Dos Duo, the duet, was also very good.

Thanks to all for your responses! We look forward to our next sailing on the Reflection.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it.  Why buffet when you can go to the dining room and be served plus have a wonderful chat with other cruisers.

In our case, we don’t like to spend a lot of time eating. We like a quick dinner and then hit the lounges for entertainment and drinks. We eat primarily at the buffet for this reason. 😀

You are so right.  We were on Constellation last month and it had been almost 20 years since we were on an M Class ship.  We loved the Rendezvous for before/after dinner,  nice to have comfortable place to sit and not have to stand and lean over railing on the atrium.

The Rendezvous lounge is our favorite… I’m hoping to not be too disappointed this cruise. I’m sure we’ll find our spot!

While the Ensemble is in concept similar to Rendezvous, unfortunately it is very small exacerbated by huge immobile furniture and poor sight lines.

We like both M and S class but unfortunately except for the underutilized Sky Lounge

S class forces a lot of entertainment into the atriums that have little to no seating, stand and watch only.

We appreciate the heads up! I guess we’ll have to make our rounds the first night to find our space to relax at night!

We have seen people dancing in the Ensemble Lounge but there is no 'dedicated' dance floor .. there is room just in front of where the entertainers are set up.

We're definitely not dancers. We're more of the sit back and enjoy a glass (or 3) of cognac and talk about our adventures of the day. 🙂

    Thank you!

The Sky Lounge white not dark has a band and small dance floor.  The Ensemble is dark, doesn’t have bands, more duo’s or solo artist & no dance floor.

The Passport bar is a bit darker, has small dance floor and band occasionally.

it is in a atrium area so can be busy and noisy from the Martini Bar just above.
    Give them all a try!

Wow! Thank you for the descriptions! We do plan on hitting them all during the cruise, but we have a deep love for the Rendezvous style lounges. We embark this Saturday and we can't wait to try a new ship!

  16. We are sailing on the Reflection for the first time this month. We are veteran Summit cruisers. We spend every evening in the Rendezvous lounge on our cruises, as it tends to be more low-key, darker, relaxing, and with good band music.

Which lounge on the Reflection would be most similar? We've checked the list, so we're thinking Passport or Ensemble might fit the bill?

    Thank you for your help!
