Sorry if this has been asked before, I could not find it in a search, but when do the Christmas decorations go up?  We will be on a 12 day cruise leaving after Thanksgiving. Are there little elves who decorate overnight?  Is it an ongoing adventure for a few days?

Hi!  Going on the Spirit, Hawaii to Papeete, does anyone know if they charge tax on drinks while in ports in Hawaii?

Thanks for the update.  We are booked into that room in November for a 12 day cruise.  I had a post asking for info on the room.  I was concerned about noise from above.  

We were on deck 8, we did hear the music from the Bliss Lounge in the evenings, but it was quiet after 11pm.  If you have the option for deck 9, I would take that.  Deck 8 was convenient to O'Sheehans.

I think this is only available in the suites.  We had it in our suite on the Dawn in April.  Loved it, but I was not able to find them available to buy online.

We did book this room for our November cruise.  Also thinking about an upgrade, but I think we would be happy with this room.  Our upgrade options are all suites, but, when I do a mock booking, there is only 1 suite available.  If you don't get your upgrade, let me know what you think of this room.  

Thanks for your pictures and videos.  They are helpful.  Yes, I believe the starboard cabins were all added after the refurb.  I was hoping that someone recently was in these cabins and could comment on them.  We've decided to go ahead and stick with 10186.

We're booked in 10186.  I figure we should have no problem getting good seats at Spice being right there.  I really would like to hear from someone who may have stayed in this cabin....looking at pictures of the ship, I'm concerned about the balcony being cut off.  

Has anyone stayed in either of these cabins?  Pros?  Cons?  Looks like the restaurant is right above the room, also was wondering about the balcony.  Is it a full balcony, or partial.

I had some trouble logging in this morning to do my checkin for our cruise....but it finally worked.  Hang in there and try again.  Close the browser, then try logging in again.

i'm taking a wait and see attitude for March 1.  Things may change again....Look at the states that are going against the CDC recommendations regarding masking as of beginning of March.  Our cruise is in April, and hoping that the mask mandate will disappear by then, but will live with whatever the reality is at the time.

I have a question - is there an adult only area on the Dawn?

Does anyone have one for a Jewel class ship, showing any distinctions between Haven suites and plain vanilla suites?  That would answer a lot of questions... if such is available.

Hi, I originally posted that list of amenities from the Dawn.  If you are interested in another ship, you can chat with a CS rep, and they will email you the list for any other specific ship.  

Got our notice today for our April cruise....81 days.

I received this list from NCL in November;  was in a chat with an online rep.  I think there was a disconnect between what was on their website for booking, and what was on this "insider" sheet.  I hope that everyone who has this issue can get the OBC as you were able to do.  

I had to cancel my Joy trip in early January, now we are booked on the Dream in April.  I also have the amenity spreadsheet for that ship.  Since there is no Haven, the Suites have most of the amenities that are given to Haven guests.

someone asked earlier, and I didn't see an answer. --  How much does bottled water or a can of soda cost at the bar onboard if you don't have the "plus" beverage package?

I went onto chat to make dining reservations for the Joy in January; I had no problem with them helping me make the reservation, what I had problem with was findinding availability.  I was told that they only 20% of reservations are open for pre-booking.  No Cagney's availability anytime for pre-booking at this time!  Was told to make the reservations when we get on the ship, there would be more availability then.

Our passports expired in Feb 2020;  I mailed our renewals on April 7, 2021, and notified that our passports will arrive tomorrow (5/21).  so....right now it's about 6 weeks.
