Back in 2005, we took a cruise that stopped at Curacao.  We took a tour that stopped at an ostrich farm.  We are going back to Curacao in March.  I thought I had heard that the farm was closed.  Then I found it on Google.  None of the ship tours have this as a stop.  I was wondering if it truly was still open?  If so, is it possible to go there on our own and then maybe continue on to a beach after?  We are cruising with our youngest 2 kids (16 yr old twins).  They weren't even born yet the last time we went to Curacao.  They aren't huge beach kids so I thought this might be a fun stop.  Any other recommendations for what we could do on our own?  also looking for ideas for Aruba (never been there before).

Also, you'll probably want to play it safe and have an extra kit or two - to allow for issues with contents (missing/damaged items), connectivity issues during the test, or problems (dropped testing items out of view, etc).

If we are a party of 6, can we buy 3 two-packs? Or do we each need to place an order for our own pack?

I know Navica requires you to open the package with them watching…and then our own codes.   So now that I already ordered multi-packs, I’m stressing that we each need our own pack.  

I'm looking for recommendations on how to combine a little beach time with touring Mykonos and Santorini.  We are a family of 7.  Our kids range from 13 yrs old to 23 yrs old, so I'm looking for a good way to hit a beach (in at least one of the 2 ports) and still get a good flavor for being on these islands.  My little 2 (13 yr old twins) are actually pretty into history and deeply into Greek mythology, so they aren't hopelessly disinterested in sightseeing.   that's not to say we wouldn't be interested in kid friendly ideas too.  

Ideally, we'd like to be on our own or in a more private tour.  My husband has had knee replacement surgery.  He can walk around all right but it helps to not have the pressure of keeping up with a group.  

Also going to Naples and Athens.

I do know from past trips, unless it has changed, that some form of water shoes are required...you are not allowed to climb in bare feet.

Thank you, All.  We booked the Horizon today.  It was just such a great deal....couldn't pass it up.  I'm sure we will have a great time.

My husband and I, along with our 12 yr old twins, will be docking in Ocho Rios on the Horizon in February.  I would like to climb the falls with our twins.  All of the tours combine this with something else.  We just want to do the falls and have some time to relax on the beach.  Also, I'm pretty sure my husband won't be able to climb (bad knee).  So here are my questions...

1)  Best way to get to the Falls from our ship?

2) Is it a pest to get tickets on our own once there?

3) Can my husband wait down in the water at the base of the falls (r someplace comfortable there)?  Do we have to pay for him to climb?

4) Is there a convenient beach there that we are allowed access to?  Or what beach close by would you recommend?

Me, my husband and our youngest 2 kids (twins..12 yrs old) are looking to cruise over President's week.  We are deciding between the Horizon and Sunrise.  The itineraries are basically the same except the Horizon has an extra day with a stop in Cozumel.  We have been to all the ports on this itinerary.  The only amenity that Horizon has over Sunrise, that we think we might enjoy/miss is the Imax theater.  My concern...the big size/crowd on Horizon.  I know a bigger ship can spread people out but that won't help on the ropes course, the pool, etc.  Will the 1000 extra people be a big negative impact or pest for our girls when they try to do things...or for any of us?  Especially over a school break...more kids.  What else might we miss on the Horizon?  Thoughts?  Pros/Cons?  Thanks...

Also, the Family Harbor room/lounge is new to us.  Is it worth a couple hundred extra?  What does it offer?
