Good morning! Does anyone know what’s going on with the non-alcoholic drink packages? Our friend just called Celebrity to purchase a non-alcoholic classic drink package and was told that she couldn’t because that package is no longer being offered. Apparently, they have a new package coming out in a few days that will be available to purchase. Thanks!

You should be fine, but make sure it’s an international sized carry on. We did exactly this and had to check our carry ons on the way back because they were too big. And… airline ended up losing one of them. Had to wait a few days for it. So frustrated as we were trying to avoid this situation.

We just returned from a cruise on Edge in a sky suite and it was exactly this. There was a mattress on top of the sofa. It was actually quite comfortable. I ended up sleeping on it for a night. The room attendant set it up for us every night and left it as a couch for us during the day.

Thank you! I think it will be fine either way, I just don’t want her to feel left out.

What happens if you get an upgrade and others in your traveling party do not? We are traveling with our solo friend and worried that she won’t be able to check-in with us or join us for shows, etc. if we get the upgrade and she doesn’t. We are traveling together and she booked her own room to have her own space. Is there anything that she can purchase if we get upgraded that will give her the same benefits as us or can we add her to our room later?

We sailed on the Apex in July and had this combination booked with our minor child and we didn’t have any issues. We were able to get into Luminae and the Retreat. I think as long as the rooms are booked together and linked you should be fine. I think it only applies to children traveling with you as well. I don’t think an adult booked in the room would get Luminae or Retreat access, but I could be wrong.

We got off the ship on the 17th so things might have changed since then, but we also had a 12:45 departure. We left the ship at 8:45 and arrived at the airport around 9:45, the airport was very busy, but we got through relatively quickly. We had a private transfer, but there were several buses waiting at the terminal to take you to the airport. It was the easiest debarkation we’ve had and the shoreside crew were very helpful. Of course, things may have changed, you could end up in traffic, etc, so definitely do what you feel comfortable with, but that’s our experience if it’s helpful.

Hi, we were on the ship last week and the kids club was operating as normal, although less kids. My son had a blast and wanted to go everyday. The staff there are amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic cruise.

Agreed, overall not pleased with how Celebrity is handling this, our rep has actually been really helpful, but even they don’t have the information. We too are on the July 10th sailing and are also trying to figure out how to shift our cruise to July 9th. Hopefully we can get this straightened out soon because we have a bunch of other things to consider as well. Still want to go!!!

Hi! Has anyone had their reservation shifted to one these new itineraries yet? I called Celebrity and they said they are not listed yet so they can’t shift to them. Also, they were not sure that the price would be protected.
How quiet are rooms near the elevators? (Edge class, Beyond, forward)

Kind of a related question, do you feel the movement of the ship more in the forward suites on the Edge class ships? I noticed the upper suites are forward and wondering if it would be an issue. DS gets sea sick pretty easily, so not sure if it would be a good idea to book one of these? We’ve always booked mid-ship and been fine, except for the Mexican Riviera, but that’s a different story.
