  1. Hi People.

We have been cruising for many years and always on Royal Caribbean. Due to the Covid problem we had to cancel this years cruise around Hawaii so have moved it forward to 2022 however this is going to be on Board Celebrity Eclipse. We are experienced on the Royal Caribbean ships but not on celebrity X. Can anyone tell us if there is an equivalent to the Windjammer and if they do a full drinks package. Many thanks for any help

  2. Hi Guys

Bit of a late reply but considering what is happening around the World havn't had too much spare time. Lockdown in the UK!!

We just got our cruise in before the Corona Virus erupted. Got back around two weeks for the you know what hit the fan

Just to thankyou you Guys for responding to Coco Cay. Had a brilliant time. What a fantastic Island. We were on back to back so visited twice. Both times Weather fantastic. Second time we booked the private part of the Beach with a meal. Only about £40 each and well worth it. Anyone who hasn't been give it a try. Plenty of room. We were on  Symphony and still loads of room. Have been to Laberdee a few times which is also great but l think Coco Cay has the edge.

    Great web site.

  3. That's great. Sounds ideal. Cruised caribbean numerous times but never been to Bahamas so Coco Cay looks good. Looking forward to that one. I did look at the tours but very expensive apart from the club one (cannot remember what is was called) i think it was around $60. Thanks again for the info. This is a great site especially for us as we are UK based and lots of you guys sail the caribbean and Bahamas a lot so great to get the inside info

There is room to just chill out (were there about two weeks ago).  It does depend on how many ships are there and which ships as to how much room there will be.

Thats great. Many thanks for the reply. We are on the Symphony so "LARGE".  Fingers crossed we can find room. Too old for all the zip line and other attractions l am afraid. Hope you enjoyed your day and thanks again

  5. Hi Guys

Cruising Caribbean in Feb for a couple of weeks again and taking in perfect day at coco cay. Havn't done this private island before.  Is there plenty of room to just chill out on the beach as we are not interesting in the attractions on the island

    Cheers

  6. I will definitely buy you a pint. Have looked and checked out suggestions and all ideal for what we need before and after Cruise. We have stayed in Doubletrees before and always good so probably will book that one

My local is THE FAT CAT in Ipswich Suffolk (UK) Real Ale  (Lubbly Jubbly) Thanks again

That time of year is expensive for hotels in Miami. Anything in Downtown Miami or Brickell is a good location and close to the port. Popular ones are Hampton Inn Brickell, Holiday Inn Port Miami and YVE Hotel for lower budget hotels.

The Port is in Downtown Miami. So tons of hotels to chose from. Miami Beach is not far from the port as well, so really you have hundreds of hotels to look at. Miami geographically is not a large city.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Just been so long since we have been there cannot remember much about it but will look at your suggestions thanks again

  8. Hi

My wife and l are regular cruises with Royal and are leaving Miami for the Caribbean in January/February next Year. We have not sailed from Miami for a long time. Any suggestions for  a good value hotel fairly close to the Cruise Terminal would be appreciated

    Many Thanks

    UK Rog
