Is Bonsai Teppanyaki ok for kids? I'll be on the Mardi Gras later this year and want to do Bonsai Teppanyaki for lunch during a port day. If the kids club is closed I'll have my 6 and 11 yr old children.

I just looked at the site again...food is not included! But still a good deal. There are some good reviews on the TA site..anyone going to Cozumel soon and wanna check it out for me?? 😉

Agree seems like a big upcharge but it appears NCL price is for 4 people which is some of the difference and only read quickly but does it include transport?
The site I was one said $269 for 2 people and $65 for more unless they were under 3 years old. I do not remember seeing anything about transportation. I think food was included in the price. NCL only listed a fruit tray...and at least I can stay as long as i want

Any updates on this? NCL has it listed on their site for $499 but i found it online for $269.

Are you looking for active, somewhat active, island tour? There are some Jeep tours available, beach breaks, etc. I’ve done the America’s Cup Regatta years ago, and have also taken an island tour with Bernard’s Tours, which was an air conditioned bus tour around Dutch St Maarten and French St Martin. There is a stop at Orient Beach (part of the beach is clothing optional, but not the entire beach), time to shop on the French side, some time at Maho Beach to watch the airplanes land/take off. Soda and beer are included as part of the tour. Was a really good tour. There are some tacky tourist and jewelry stores right near the pier, and better shopping on Front Street in Philipsburg, which is a water taxi ride across the bay from the cruise dock. St Maarten is a beautiful island.
Thanks for the advice...the tour with Bernards sounds like something we can do

Did you find anything? I will have a 3year old and a 8 year old so I would love some ideas

Did anyone find the answer to this? I am cruising later this year with a 3yr old and would like to have something available so I can do the Bio Bay Kayak Tour in San Juan

Does anyone know if places like Paradise Beach stay open late when ships are in port? I will be on Carnival Victory and our time was changed to 12-10pm! I know they wont stay open that late but Mr. Sanchos has close at 4pm listed on their site.

Delta has good rates from RDU-SEA non-stop but its embarkation day. Plane lands in Seattle at 9:40am but flying in same day as cruise scares me.

I like the golf cart idea but will have a 1yr old with me...any suggestions for someone with kids? I will also have a 6yr old

Would a 3n1 jacket be too much?

I read somewhere that Victory is going into dry dock in a few weeks. Does anyone know if she will get the 2.0 upgrades?

These types of dresses have become VERY popular. And they are in all sizes, styles, colors. So versatile. The wrinkles will be a PITA, but I think I can use my Downey or just toss it in a dryer on the cruise for a few mins. and be fine.
I do hate wearing spanx and avoid them at all cost. But I might consider a pair with this dress just to help smooth things a bit more.
I hated Spanx for a while also. I tried a different size and now wear them almost everyday. You can get some pretty cheap off ebay, i think my last one was less then $20

Finally had time to snag a picture (no matter how bad it is) of the dress I ordered. You can wear it so many ways and I think my biggest problem will be deciding how I want to wear it!
Now, just gotta decide how to accessorize. I have some bronze strappy/beaded kitten heels, but I don't have a nice necklace or bracelet (depending on how I wear it) to go with.
I have some strappy, goddess like sandals in a almost pewter silver and (if you can see it) that rhinestone drop necklace..........
The kitten heels would only be worn with that dress, where the wedges could be worn with a lot.
The silver look like this design, but shiney and all sliver.
You look AMAZING in this dress....now i have to go shopping! Something like this will be perfect for my Dec cruise

Port: Kotor, smart casual
I LOVE this dress! Can you please tell me where you got it from?

I only read a few pages so im not sure if this has been asked. Can one person in the cabin purchase a drink package and the other purchase a different package? DH would want the premium package but I would just need the classic package.

Thanks. We do this at home so the kids will be fine. It's been a while since I cruised and only used the kids club maybe twice. But I do believe they are closed during port days
