Close. Missed it by a week, Jan 18th. 😊
Ah, you’re right. I just looked, I was on the 18-25 of January cruise. How could I forget 😅

I did it (Aug 15th) and also tempted to add another one in October. So cheap, certainly worth the risk to me. 🙂
I just booked a spa cabin on the Panorama for Aug 1st lol. You’re right, too cheap and worth the risk. I believe you were on our Jan 25th Panorama Cruise 😁

Just booked Panorama Spa Cabin on 8/1/20. Haha, am I crazy?

thank you sanmarcosman. i was able to book today. the website was just not up to speed yet.

I read on Carnival's website that specialty dining would be available for booking on August 1st. I tried booking, saw that they added a new tab for it under your booking, but its giving me the same message as before. Anyone else able to book yet? I have been waiting months to book the Chef's Table, and now i feel like Carnival trolled me lol.

1/18/2020 is going to be an amazing cruise. i just wish there was a designated night club.

Carnival Miracle in November of '14, got a call for an upsell from an interior on deck 1 for an extended balcony, for $100. I forgot which deck it was, i can probably go back and figure it out. I wish I could get that call again.

Cheers! program, if you use it for alcohol and can drink your 15 a day, then it's still great deal. But the way to get the bang for the buck is the milkshakes, floats, tea, specialty coffee, soda, bottled water, energy drinks, etc. They are unlimited and that's a deal.

If I was willing to actually sail on Vista class and above, I would use this. I'm 30.
What makes you unwilling to sail on the above mentioned classes? I am going to be 30 by the time this cruise of mine comes around in January, shows how different tastes for entertainment are. A big indoor rock climbing park would have been better. A multi level nightclub should have been put in that spot IMHO.
-
I have read on other posts that the IMAX bass would shake rooms up to deck 10. That probably wouldn't bother the wife and I, since we are nightwalkers. I'm sure there are better ideas then what has been put in place though. There is no space on the Vista class set aside for a night club. They just turn one of the lounges into a club at night, right? The ship could have used a dope multi story nightclub.

With the removal of the IMAX, we are given the Sky Zone. I am not a fan of this replacement, but I don't have kids. I can imagine kids are going to go nuts over this. What do you guys think about it?

182! Panorama 1/18/2020
-
Have you looked at flights in and out of Long Beach? It is so easy to get to and from the ship.
-
i understand the 15 alcoholic drinks allowed during the 6-6 timeframe, but are all the non alcoholic drinks unlimited? I'm talking about the specialty lattes and milkshakes.

You are probably seeing the panorama at the dock yard.
But OP said that it was gone by that night. It wouldn't be moved right? Im sailing on the Panorama in January and I am beyond excited.

It is terrible. To go on vacation and something tragic happen. I am very cautious about excursions when I travel with the wife.

does carnival keep track of price drops and give you onboard credit if you are booked through the early saver booking? i have seen extra OBC on past cruises and was told this was the reason.
-
i did this with a bottle of bubbly for the wife before our last cruise. first thing, we enter the room and nothing is there. second, after i call and ask where my champs is, they send someone with a warm bottle. no ice bucket! carnival trolled me good, i won't be buying a bottle pre-cruise again.

bring your own, their stuff will make your hair fall out. not literally, but it can't be good.

I'm curious what kind of interior cabin gets an eight category upgrade and you still end up in an interior cabin?? Other than deck level, I bet the cabins are identical.
i went from deck one up to deck ten. saved like $90 total. i was happy since i like to be closer to everything. they gave me room 10210.

I would love a call from the Upgrade Fairy. She has called me once during my cruise career, upgrade from an interior to a deluxe balcony on the Carnival Miracle back in 2014 for only $100. I called to book for January 18, 2020 and was offered an eight category upgrade for the $449 interior price. Took the deal and am very happy, but a balcony would make me happier.

Boarding the Panorama on January 18, 2020. We are very excited for the new ship. This will be my sixth Mexican Riviera and the third for my wife. Best excursion we have been on would be Rhythms of the Night in Puerto Vallarta, I recommend this one big time.

Just rebooked for 9/5/20 after my 8/1 Panorama was cancelled. Got $800 onboard credit and a spa cabin for $770. Totally worth it.
