On the subject of scones……Austin has direct flights to and from London on British Airways. If at all possible I try to schedule the BA flights because they serve tea and scones with cream and strawberry jam an hour before landing. Love those scones!

Hi Jim! Have enjoyed so much your blog! Thanks for sharing. I’m curious to know if you will be in the Penthouse Suite on the Iceland trip. If so, I may be your neighbor. We are so looking forward to this trip in August.

Does anyone recall the price of bottled water (quart size)?
The ship usually places one in fridge.
Thanks

The price on CCAir online was close to $2400. By calling direct the price was a little over $1000 which might be a little high but ok for business.Hope this helps

Happy.....I called Choice Air and was able to arrange my one way ticket
next May. I got the exact business class ticket I wanted for the price I wanted. If you haven’t talked to them directly...give it a try. The pricing on line is really strange.

We would like to take a taxi from the port of Haifa to Ein Hod and the Druze Village. Do we need to ask the taxi to wait or will taxis be available for the trip back to the port?
Thanks for your help.

I would like to arrange a private tour from Haifa to Nazareth, Sea of Galilee and also to
Safed. Not so much interested in religious emphasis just a general overview. Is this too
much to cover in 1 day? Also is there a boat ride option on the Sea of Galilee? Thanks
for your help in advance.

We took this cruise several years ago and had the same situation with an evening flight. We took a cooking class that including some sightseeing, grocery shopping, and then the cooking class. It was a lot of fun and we met some interesting people. Can’t remember who the tour was with but you probably can google and find something similar.
