  1. The rules state you must submit ownership proof 2 - 3 weeks before sailing.

otherwise one could buy stock, get the obc, then sell their shares.

Still, I have one Celebrity cruise in Feb. 22, and four Royal cruises booked, a B2B in September 21 and a B2B in July 22.

If you’re saying they’re disregarding their time limit rule, then I can submit proof of ownership now?  I’ll see what occurs…

  2. IMHO I believe the Cruise lines should make Covid-19 vaccinations mandatory for everyone aboard,  that’s crew and passengers.  I believe it would make everyone safer, and allow the Ports visited to know the ships wasn’t carrying, or bringing Covid to their cities.

A few days ago when RCCL released a statement about vaccines being required on this Summer’s sailings, it caused a big brouhaha amongst the antivaxxers.

personally,  I would feel much safer knowing everyone we came across aboard was vaccinated.  It’s the only way to guarantee passenger safety,

  3. Vaccines will change everything.  By May we should be cruising with certain rules in place, including proof of vaccination against Covid-19.  That’s the only way the CDC will allow cruise companies to operate - proof that everyone aboard, both guests and crew, are vaccinated against Covid-19.

I wouldn’t worry about any B2B, I’m not worried about mine in late September/early October.  The only cruise I’m unsure of is one in late March of this year.  I really doubt we’ll have our vaccines by then.  When they cancel I’ll take FCC and book another.

  4. This happened to me with a cruise I have booked in late March. I paid the final payment, so when they cancel I’ll get 125% future cruise credit.  I’ll definitely use it as we’re avid cruisers and cruise often.

our other cruises booked last year were all lifted and shifted to this coming September, October, and next February (2022).

  5. We booked the Grandeur’s last cruise on March 26th.  It’s still sowing as one of our future cruise, but if you do a search on the cruise, it doesn’t show up,  in fact, nothing shows up for the Grandeur.

We’re also booked on a b2b on the Freedom, but the first, a Canada and NE cruise doesn’t show if you search.  Only the short cruises are showing, with gaps for the Canada cruises.

And I don’t know why they’re waiting to cancel this cruise.  Full payment is coming due....
