  1. On Allure of the Seas Feb 19th have used other off site parking services closer to other ports and walked. New RCI port is further away. Is it best to pay the extra cost and part in the lots by the pier? Latest review was talking about only one parking shuttle in the drop off area at a time and took a long time to get back to port. The cost of the lots by the ship is significantly higher than other off site lots. Has anyone stayed at hotels in Galveston and left car at the hotel and used Uber to get to ship? What was the approximate cost of the uber

  2. We are on Jan 29Apex sailing, received the 60day final payment email, however, payment was taken out Oct 1. Still get full refund 75 days before sailing, so I didn’t worry about it. Not the best policy for Celebrity to send out payment change email and then still take payment 120days out

  3. Yes, silent disco 3 nights, one night the club, one on deck, and final night grand plaza. All were a blast.  There is a late night comedian at 1045pm, and magician another night. The club has a show one night “Undercover” production cast. The Club was open nightly, Eden has live music till midnight

  4. If you are anytime dining go to any restaurant you want, if set dinning time early or late set in 1 dining room full cruise. I made reservations for each night before we got on board. There was never a wait for people without reservations, but ship is not full. I would make reservations before you leave then don’t have to worry about it. Each dining room has a special menu the there are a few starters and entrees which change daily in all dining rooms

  5. It was our first post COVID cruise and could not have been more impressed with crew and staff on Edge.  The staff went above and beyond everywhere to make sure everyone had a great time and were safe.  Crew and staff had mask on at all times, they were cleaning things constantly.  They all seemed so happy to have guest back on board.  Their attitudes were amazing since they are not allowed off the ship at any time.  They have been completed isolated on board since the second cruise back.  Working and living on the ship 24/7 would be difficult for anyone.  The ship was only about 45% occupied so there was never a wait for meals at the dinning rooms, I had made reservations before the cruise but it was not necessary.  The food at all four of the MDRs was excellent. My favorite was Cyprus the Eden lunch was excellent also.  Oceanview was good, no different than any of the Buffets on ships. This ship is amazing, the art work and decor are very modern and contemporary.  The staterooms can be fully controlled with the phone app.  The silent disco and entertainment both production shows and guest entertainer's were excellent.  Captain Kate, with her scary cat "Bug", was a big hit.  She is very personable and represents Celebrity very well.  I would love to go back on tomorrow if I could.  I have posted to review.  The ports of call are definitely lacking.  Most of the shops at Crown Bay are closed, some of the shops at St Martin port were open, downtown was about 50-50.  It is very sad to see the ports closed, the September 2018 hurricane and Covid have been a 1:2 punch.   If anyone has any questions about the cruise let me know.
