  1. We purchased the insurance through Princess.  It did not cover the COVID-19, so we cancelled before the cancellation fee went to 50%.  I know we may be leaving some $ behind but we just felt this was the safest way to go.  This would have been our first cruise to Alaska so we may try again next year or 2022.  We were taking this cruise with 2 other couples and it was a group decision.

  2. This will be our first cruise to Alaska and I would like some suggestions on what we should do at each port.  We will be going with 2 other couples, leaving from Vancouver on May 20 ( I hope we picked a good month) on the Coral Princess.  Our ports are Icy Straight Point, Skagway and Juneau.   We are also taking the additional land package, spending 1 night in Mt. McKinley lodge, 2 nights in Denali lodge and 1 night in Fairbanks.  From my brief research it sounds like we should do the White Pass railroad up and bus or van back in Skagway,  a hike or something to Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau and maybe whale watching in ISP.  I know a lot of you on this board have been to Alaska several times so I'm anxious to hear what suggestions you have.  Thanks for your help.
