We are currently in a Club Suite and would at least really like to go up to a Spa Club Suite as we like the Thermal Spa and have spent a lot of time in there the last couple of cruises. The cost of the thermal spa pass is $299 and the range for bidding is $100-$550. There are a couple of those rooms available, I placed a bid $260pp which puts is in the middle of fair and am wondering if I should up it to at least $300pp to match the price of the thermal spa pass. I’m probably way overthinking it, as usual! Thanks for any guidance! 

I won a spa club balcony upgrade from a balcony room last December for $150-$300 total.  With 3 adults cruising and getting the spa and larger bathroom we got a screaming deal!  This was back when capacity was at 30% so I’m sure that had to do with the lower price.  Be aware that on the Bliss (not sure what ship you are on) These rooms are under the pool deck and were noisy in the mornings when they start moving the loungers out.  If you like your room location now you might want to stick with it and buy the passes.  

Wow this is Awesome!  Just got it for my cruise.  I can blow through $20.00/day myself on Starbucks haha! 

I was upgraded to a spa room after buying a pass. I asked at the spa to refund my money and they didn’t add the credit to my bill.  I then had to go through customer service when I got home.   I just realized I never got my refund and had to email again.  I would wait till after the upgrades come through so you don’t have to mess with it.  

I had the pleasure of sleeping on the pullout for a cruise I took.  I had to ask for 2 egg-crate mattresses to make it bearable.  Slept like a baby after that!

I was a little shocked with the price hike!  I had paid $199/wk of prior Bliss cruises and it is now $299/wk for our latest cruise.  I will probably go ahead and get it though.  We booked a standard balcony room and I hate how small the showers are.  I end up showering in the spa because the showers are so much better! I just love the thermal suite! It is worth every dime.

I cruised Thanksgiving week and never needed a reservation for the MDR’s (this included Thanksgiving dinner). You might need them for a large party.  With our cruise only being 36% of capacity we didn’t need reservations for anything.  

I was upgraded from regular balcony to the spa club balcony suite for the Bliss Dec. 12th sailing.  We have 3 adults in the room and paid a total of $640.00 for the upgrade.  Total win for me!! Whoop Whoop!

Ok weird… just checked again and they put unable to upgrade on my spa balcony room that previously said processing.  Now all of the expired offers say pending so I may still have a chance at that spa club balcony that I really wanted or maybe the Haven ha!  All my offers are the lowest on those so I know I don’t have a chance.  At least I know I will get into the spa because I had previously purchased it.

Check your offers… I just looked at mine and got a spa balcony upgrade.  It says processing and the others say expired.  Got all 3 of us access to the spa for the amount I was paying just for myself.  I consider it a WIN!!!!

I am watching for this cruise also…I put the lowest bid available on each.  Honestly I would not bid extremely high to get into the Haven as I just got off the same cruise for Thanksgiving and the ship was near empty.  No waiting for anything that would want me to have an escape into the Haven.  Not sure what the capacity will be for this one but I was told the Thanksgiving cruise was at 36%.

Dang it!  Just checked my link and looks like I’m getting the Spa Balcony.  I’ll take it though because I’m getting if for a minimal bid and wanted to have the spa anyway.  Thanks for the tip!  I’ll be able to take another cruise with the amount I saved not getting the Haven haha!

Congratulations!!!  I’m on the 11/21 Bliss. The upgrade option has disappeared off my NCL page but no email or charge on my card yet.  I still see all of the same haven rooms available for booking so we shall see.  How did you find out?  Did you get an email?  The suspense is KILLING me haha.

Guilty!!

I’m on the Bliss 11/21… haven’t heard anything yet and all of the same Haven rooms are open.  Holding out hope!  

I’m wondering the benefit or need to test if we live in California and will be driving to the port.  If we test positive we can just drive home and would not need assistance. Is there any tie to getting reimbursed if we do test positive?  

Anyone had any bids accepted recently?  I’m on the 11/21 Mexican Riviera on the Bliss and trying to gauge how much to bid.  Thanks in advance!!  Would love to experience the Haven.  I was able to cruise in the Concierge level on the Joy before they changed it and loved the larger room/balcony.  Can’t imagine what the Haven is like!  

We will be there also on Christmas Day.  Cruising on the Norwegian Joy.  Hoping to catch a red truck (there are 11 of us) to the Golden Zone.  I’ve read some other posts that most of the resorts will let you use their facilities if you are spending money there.  Hope this is true!  I have read El CID Castillo Beach is one of the best options.  Playing it all by ear versus booking an excursion through Norwegian.  Any advice is totally appreciated!  

I second The Office.  Some of the best food I have ever had and great atmosphere.  Easy walk from the marina.
