Most of the flights are in the afternoon out of Anchorage. Our flight was around 2 pm back in October. We left around 8:00 am as there was construction between Seward and Anchorage. We were at the airport about 3 hours before our flight.

We thought the welcome back was excellent and a nice touch at the end of our cruise. It made our cruise more enjoyable.

We stayed in London for a couple extra days at the end of our cruise. We did a Beatles Black Cab tour that was just my wife and I. Tour was about 5 hours and the driver took us to all the main locations and many out of the way ones. We booked this through Viator.

We decided to not do the extensions at the end of our cruise as it seemed to expensive. We are ending up Anchorage. Instead, we are going to do another week at Lake Geneva and the Wisconsin Dells.

No one is allowed to jog at 5 am. They have limited times you can go up there.

We used Addison Lee a few years ago. The cost was quite reasonable with great service.

On our upcoming trip which we have Viking "Premium Economy", we are booked on Delta Premium Select for the overseas leg of the trip. We are booked in Delta Comfort for the US leg of the trip (Phoenix to Salt Lake City). We are just in coach for let from Amsterdam to Budapest.

Almost everyone who sails on Viking would be considered high risk because of the average age. So it makes sense to me that they are taking extra precautions. We put off our next cruise until the end of the this year hoping that the variants become more like the flu. Covid cases at my wife's hospital she is a nurse at are down finally. Hopefully, it stays this way with the latest variants.

We did that Beatles excursion. We also had a private Black Cab tour to all the Beatle sites around London. Just my wife and I and the driver/tour guid. It was 5 hours long and we hit so many famous sites from their career. Got us into a couple things that normal tourist can't visit. My wife, who is a huge Beatles fan, was in heaven!

My wife loved the Uby4. That brought it to her a couple nights even though we didn't have the SS package.

We were on the same June 2021 cruise. They offered us 125% voucher but it had to be used in 2021 or 2022. We can't book this year and already have a cruise booked for 2022. They did offer us 110% towards the same cruise in 2023. It ended up costing us about $200 more for the cruise as the air fair wasn't included.

We were booked for the same Alaskan cruise you were on. We have another cruise that was already postponed to 2022. My wife can only get off one 2 week period per year so we needed to re-book for 2023. Then I saw it was only good for 2021 and 2022. Guess we are going to have to do the refund.

We have yet to get a notice that our June 8th Vancouver to Seward cruise it cancelled. I've been watching and waiting daily for the cancellation.

We are on the same cruise from June 8-18. It seemed weird to get the airline flights after Canada prohibited the cruises until next year. Wish Viking would go ahead and do the cancellation. We plan on hitting a couple resorts in Tennessee and Virginia in place of the cruise.

My wife is getting her vaccine in another week. She's a nurse at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital. Wonder how long it will be before the rest of the family can get it.
-
We are also booked for the Alaska Cruise on June 8th. I agree with the 50/50 chance especially when you have a third of the population saying the aren't going to get vaccinated when the vaccine is available. Way too many people around here still not wearing masks.

We have a France river cruise scheduled in November. I'm thinking that there's a good chance it's going to get cancelled. We live in Arizona and chances of flying into Europe are getting slimmer for this year. American Airlines has already cancelled direct flights from Phoenix to London until next year. Hopefully, things will be better for the Alaskan cruise in June.

I discovered the noodle bar after a few days as well as the sushi. I hit both every night when we were at the World Cafe.

I have seen the same thing out here in Arizona with the lack of social distancing. Very few people wearing masks. People act like the pandemic is over just because they opened up a few things.

Just_dont, your memory serves you right! I adjusted our floor multiple times.

When we were in Dublin this past summer, they had regular shuttles going into town. You could leave the tour and come back later on one of the shuttles. You just needed to let you tour guide know that you were coming back on a later shuttle.
