  1. Greetings fellow cruisers!

Forgive me, its been a while since I have sailed with Carnival. Will be going on the Conquest in December. Every cruise I know that when I get on my first stop is to go to guest services to get tickets for upcoming events. But I can't seem to wrap my head around what I might need to get tickets for. There seems to be a lot of activities offered. What do you recommend?

    Do I need tickets for...

    Seuss breakfast?

    Afternoon tea?

    Wine tasting?

    What sells out?

    Thank you!

  2. As previously mentioned we were assigned deck 1 aft, almost the very last cabin. The good thing about the location is that there is not much hallway traffic so it is quiet in that respect.

The room is dated. The chair was tattered. The sheets were thread bare. The piece of material tha covers the foot of the bed was tattered as well.

The room does vibrate and there is noise from the ship, not sure if it is the engines or not.

Our shower was clogged. I removed a bunch of hair from the drain. Really not acceptable!!!! I was not impressed with the cabin steward. i asked for extra towels and on some days did not even get hand towels. Twice we found someone else's flip flops under the bed and threw them away, and the basket was not emptied. We had to call him to empty it.

My husband and I keep our room neat so really there should not be that much to cleaning our room. This is the first time since we cruised that we did not give any extra cash to our cabin steward. The service was just not there.

We never had a problem with our air conditioning like some other members had reported.

We did get towel animals every night but quite honestly I really do not know what they were. Maybe some of you can tell me.

Those towel animals are a work of art! Bahahahahahahahahahaha!!! (I apologize if this is not the response you were looking for but they really made me LOL)

  3. Good interest and questions. As noted on this thread through my posting of "Curacao: Pix's, Fun, Experiences Feb./2015!", we enjoyed our visit at the Sea Aquarium and nearby. On our day we were there, it would have been easy, quick and simple for tickets, etc. No big crowds!! Simple and easy for us. Maybe that will change depending on the number and size of cruise ships in port for each specific day. Check out my pictures and details for what we did there.

Have you checked for the number and passenger totals for the cruise ship scheduled during your visit time?? When are you planning to be there, ship name?

    THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio

From our Jan. 25-Feb. 20, 2015, Amazon River-Caribbean combo sailing over 26 days that started in Barbados, here is the link below to that live/blog. Lots of great visuals from this amazing Brazil river and these various Caribbean Islands (Dutch ABC's, St. Barts, Dominica, Grenada, etc.) that we experienced. Check it out at:

Hello! It doesn't appear that my ship has an excursion to the aquarium or it has already sold out. There is an excursion that basically looks like a bus ride that takes you to the aquarium/beach area but tickets are not included. That bus leaves at 0830. We are on the conquest 11/28 (in that port 12/2).

  4. I am interested in going to the sea aquarium. I don't see an option to purchase tickets online. The website states tickets are sold until 4. Just curious if anyone has had experience purchasing tickets day of and if there were any issues. I would hate to get there and they be sold out...
