  1. Can't wait till we get on the Crown Sept. 25th. We are cruising with my brother and his wife. We are on a wait list (#37) for 6 p.m. dining and don't want to do the 8:15 p..m.

Does anyone know the wait time about for Anytime Dining?

What is our chances of getting 6:00 p.m?

There is #11 wait list for 5:30 but kind of early for us.

Our travel agent said to call everyday to make a reservation when ever you want (around 6 or 5:30 or 7 p.m. etc. day by day)

We cruise every year and was in Bermuda in May but only been on Princess once in 2005.

Thanks in advance for any ideas and help.

  2. Carnival Miracle last week- just got back from a week to Mexican Riviera

$1,409 for a balcony for two people everything included. Everything included upgraded to 8E (8th deck Panorama) plus $100 OBC. Not directly thru Carnival though. Love the Miracle. Not crowded at all.

  3. I fear we will lose her out of Long Beach to somewhere out in Florida. Enjoy the time left we may have with her. She's a great ship.

Just got back from the Miracle on May 23 from Mexico. This was the most relaxing cruise I have been on. We love the Splendor and the last three cruises were on it. There was never any part of the cruise that you felt crowded until getting off the ship. The Miracle also has about 800 less passengers. I think it helped that we also had a balcony this time and hung out there a lot and I did a lot less video and picture taking. I've been on the Mexican Riviera cruise for a week six times now.

  4. You revived a very old post (2012).

I am just off of Miracle. Yes, Serenity is protected from the wind. I was out there for a bit every day. You will not get one of the 4 hammocks, but there are plenty of loungers. I was out there the last sea day which was chilly and very windy everywhere else on deck, but Serenity was just fine since it is at the aft of the ship. I actually fell asleep out there because I was so comfy.

Thank you so much. Hope you have a great cruise coming up.

  5. We have been on the Splendor twice to Mexican Rivera and liked the Serenity area. There where often many empty lounge chairs. This is due to the fact that going up and down the coast to Mexico is so windy and the Serenity is so uncomfortable on that ship.

Is the Serenity on the Miracle more protected from the Wind? Thanks.

  6. Hi Everyone.

I've had the same question for sometime. We are going next Sunday on the PO Aloha. I read somewhere you will get to see the north coast that people are talking about which is beautiful. When I look at the itinerary and the route the ship takes it shows that they never go to the north part of Kauai. Would love to see it. Thanks.
