We will be on the Emerald Princess from Settle to Hawaii on April 15, 2021. My wife has a great uncle who was, and still is, aboard the Arizona. I would like to set up something special for her to recognize his presence.(flowers, lei, etc.) but don't know where to begin. I would appreciate any ideas on how we might do something special for him

We are currently booked on the Star on May 13th but are going to have to change the dates. In doing research I found that the Star leaves San Francisco on Monday August 30th and is getting pretty well sold out. The Ruby leaves SF on Sunday August 29th and is pretty much wide open including full suites and numerous Club Class min suites. The itineraries are pretty much identical except the Star goes to Glacier Bay and the Ruby goes to Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier. I'm curious why the difference in the booking level? Is the Glacier Park that much better than Endicott. Is it the ships themselves? I would love feedback before we make a final decision.

I must be missing something. I just ran through all of the cruise deals on the Princess site and found nothing that even comes close. Where are these deals coming from?

Your timing is impeccable. I just booked L108 on the new Discovery and am having serious second thoughts about it. Can you use the side balcony while underway? Is there any kind of wind block like the privacy screens the other cabins have?
