Oh. I see what you’re saying now. Maybe people complained and they changed it. When I booked it was Sea class. I was hoping it would get changed since they’re very similar to the ones on deck 11. I guess someone else can report back. Fingers crossed that it’s Sky class now.

I texted rccl text line and they replied Sea Class. Hopefully it turns out they switch it, you will have to report back.

The ones on the aft of deck 10 that are Sunset Junior Suites, are Sky Class (10354, 10356, 10754, 10756)

All other Junior Suites on deck 10 are just regular Junior Suites, not Sunset Junior Suites. These are all Sea Class

Navigator did not have them when I was on last year.

On Allure (which sails from Port Canaveral) last week they had them. They were Miami mugs 😭

I have bought one on Allure the last three weekend sailings. (Someone else kept wanting one, so I had to get them) These were all the actual Allure been there cups, not a Miami one.

That's what his hint sounds like to me, but I could be wrong.

I know that they are working on the shows for Utopia now, since Icon has launched. I think that it's much too early to be getting hints for Star.

In December he released the set list for Aqua 80's Two. He didn't say that was for Utopia, but I think it is. If Utopia got BTTF it would continue the 80's theme.

Having been a teenager in the 80's, this is really exciting to me.

I believe Aqua80 2 (or whatever they will call it) will be on Utopia as well. Add Back to the Future, and I am even more excited. All they need now is an 80's themed show in Studio B! One can dream.

  4. Tip how you want. The cruise line has a suggested amount to make it easier for you, but you should feel free to add to it, remove it and tip on your own, or remove it and not tip at all. Those are your options, and what you decide to do is up to you.

Yep... and I can't stand the ones "over there." You know I like helping people and answering questions when I can but the amount of bad info, clutter, noise, repetitive questions... it's just too much for me.

This is constant! The wrong info, from folks who are completely confident in the answers... kills me. 🤣

I agree, and for those that don’t have to fly, it’s a good way to build up points. Some people in Florida do the same short cruises over and over to the same destinations.

That would be me. I love 3 night sailings and I love Coco Cay. If Port Canaveral wasn't a two hour drive, and I lived in the Melbourne area, I would be on board every weekend.

I would have liked to have read this but never saw it. The cynic in me wonders if they were jealous that the ships dog would take attention away from their dog.

It is still in the P group on FB. I was drinking coffee when I read it, and well... I snorted. Hot coffee everywhere. Totally worth it.

Suite deck space is a very good size, however, you figure 179 suites at 3 people (avg) per suite is 537 guests using that space. My quick count from that video shows perhaps seating for 120 people (heck the bar has a mere 6 seats!) and the "pool", as I expected, is large jacuzzi at best, maybe good for 10 people? I don't think suite guests are going to like having to get up early to save a chair, might as well head down to the lower decks and fight for chairs with the rest of us. Lol. I also think it looks cheap (like it was furnished from the Target or Ikea catalog). I suspect suite prices will correct down as negative customer reviews roll in.

It does not need to accommodate "537" at the same time. Wonder can barely accommodate 50, and I have never seen an issue there. Not all the suites use the areas at the same time.

Yes, CK/SL is nice on Wonder, but personally, I think this looks far better.

You mean the same legal department that was unaware of the  liquor laws in Texas when their ships were docked in Galveston ?

Sure... actually contact anyone you like to tell the company how they have to run their business. Listen, I do not like the dog being on board, (I don't like animals doing anything for humans) but I am not sure why anyone would think they could tell this company what to do with their own $1b+ foreign flagged ship.

One entitled Pinnacle already tried that on FB, and it was nice to see them shoot her down. The audacity of some people to think they have a say in how the company is run. Too funny.

I've heard it all before when Oasis came out...same criticisms, same claims of "I'll never sail that behemoth"  Now 6 of them all sailing full, and a seventh now booking!  All those naysayers are now sailing the ship they swore would break RCCL!  Time will tell.  I'll put my money on Icon.

LOL I agree. However, there are 5 of them, with the 6th one now booking. I would like a 7th, because I am thinking Icon will not be for me. However, I will make that decision once I sail.

Has anyone stayed in 13240 or 13238. We had a previous sailing on symphony that the rooms right under the door to the pool area. We go no sleep all week. So just a little worried to pay for the extras which are worth it but have that experience again.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Matt

I know this is not specific to your question, but I have stayed in 13636, and it was too loud for me during the day. I like to nap, and that was not happening with the noise from above. Night time was not bad.

I would imagine the side you are referring to has Teppanyaki above, so probably a bit quieter during the day, and maybe more noise in the evening, but should dissipate after 11pm.

Just because they are the owners of the ship doesn't mean they are immune to CDC and other government laws and regulations. In Florida non service animals are not allowed in food licensed premises.

Well I am fairly confident that Royal knows what they are permitted to do on their own foreign flagged ship. However, if you are fully aware of something else, maybe you should reach out to the legal department at Royal, and advise.

As far as I know, the only dogs allowed on ships are service dogs. There is no mention of dogs owned/employed by the cruise lines are exempt from this regulation.

    Rules are rules.

There is also no mention of them at all in the rule. However, I do not find it that hard to believe that the rule was directed at guests all this time, and does not apply to the company that owns and operates the ship. Their ship, their rules.

Just a thought-with Rover being onboard, will that encourage passengers to bring the family dog on a cruise?

I am not referring to service dogs, but pets.

    MJ🙎🏻‍♀️

No. There has been no invitation from Royal for such a thing.

Sorry, but I may upset a few here, and it is not my intension, but...

Is not 1 entree more than enough at dinner time?

Are there not enough places around the ship during the day/early evening where you can get some food/nibbles if still a bit peckish?

I have witnessed so many people, so many timers ordering food and then either not eating all of it because the main course came out before they could finish all the entrees they had ordered.

Food wastage on board a cruise ship is one of things that helps the prices to go up, yet it is something that we can help to avoid if we are careful.

Given that the cruise line seems to gearing to get you in and out in 90 minutes (possibly to give your seats to My Time Dinning guest) surely, 1 entree is all your going to have time for if you are going to have an enjoyable 3 course meal plus a coffee etc before having to make a mad dash to the other end of the ship to get a decent seat for the show etc.

    Mick.

I order two on one specific night. The night they have the pesto tagliatelle and the Garlic shrimp. There is little/no protein in the pasta dish, and the 5 or 6 shrimp go well with it. That is technically two entrees, so yeah... 1 is not enough. I do request them together, and they have never not accommodated.
