  1. Does anyone know if the Deck 17 (Coastal Kitchen & Suite Lounge) received any update love during the refurb?  Also curious if the Crown Loft Suites were updated at all.  Looking forward to seeing all of the updates when we sail on Oasis out of NY in May!

  2. There is a new Courtyard by Marriott in Locust Point (in McHenry Row across from the Cruise Terminal) Great shops and restaurants (& brewery) in walking distance.  I'd also consider this a nice and safe place to stay before cruising out of Baltimore; Locust Point is an awesome neighborhood!  It is a stones throw away from the cruise terminal!

Brand new Courtyard at McHenry Row (across the street from the port) should open before end of this year.

Heard this is supposed to open Nov 2019!  I frequent the Locust Point neighborhood and this Courtyard is in a great location!  I'd also consider LP a great and safe place to stay before cruising out of Baltimore!

    Other Baltimore Hotel Recommendations
Tons of hotels around the Inner Harbor, but the ones with the best location and what I would consider nice and safe areas would be:

Sheraton at the Inner Harbor (close to 95, easy access to get to the cruise terminal)
Royal Sonesta on Light Street (close to 95, easy access to get to the cruise terminal)
    Renaissance
    Marriott Waterfront (Pier 5)
    Four Seasons (Pier 5)
    Courtyard by Marriott (Pier 5)
  4. Ken,

I believe I put a response on your other post regarding the new Courtyard in Locust Point/McHenry Row. (**this is what I would try to do if I didn't live right outside of Baltimore!)

Here are a few other recommendations that are around the Inner Harbor (all further away, all garage parking):

Sheraton at the Inner Harbor (close to 95, easy access to get to the cruise terminal)
Royal Sonesta on Light Street (close to 95, easy access to get to the cruise terminal)
    Renaissance
    Marriott Waterfront (Pier 5)
    Four Seasons (Pier 5)
    Courtyard by Marriott (Pier 5)
  5. Closest to the Cruise terminal

There is a new Courtyard by Marriott in Locust Point (in McHenry Row across from the Cruise Terminal) that is slated to open Nov 2019.  Hopefully that is still on track!!  Great shops and restaurants (& brewery) in walking distance.  I'd also consider this a nice and safe place to stay before cruising out of Baltimore; Locust Point is an awesome neighborhood!  I don't know what the parking situation would be; you can also park directly at the Cruise terminal if needed.

  7. I'm not trying to help justify their price increase, especially because we have no evidence of how they look aside from the marketing material.  But $2,000 across the cabana's 8 person capacity is $250 per person which includes access to the Beach Club.  Not as bad!

Price isn't too bad if you are splitting across a large group.  I agree it's somewhat obscene if you were only 2-3 people looking to get one.

I can't wait to see actual pictures from real cruisers once they are open in January!
