  1. really good and must try

bing cherry soup, pumpkin soup (really good), actually most of the cold soups are great, IMHO creme brulee best dessert usually only on the first night,

not sure if they still have the chili relleno but it sure looked good

I have never figured out all of the people that go crazy about the hotdogs, there is real food just a few steps away but hotdogs ... maybe if they were over an open fire cooked on a stick

  2. You can park in the city parking garage next to the former Radisson Admiral Semmes hotel, it recently changed names and I do not know the new name.

the hotel is at 251 government street

In the past I have paid for parking at the hotel and they give you a receipt, when you leave just hold up the receipt and they open the gate.

When you pay for parking also make a reservation for the free shuttle to take you to the port. The first one normally leaves at 10:30am but they will also be picking up passengers that are getting off of the ship. Just tip the driver a few bucks. When you get back make sure to have the shuttle phone number and call them and they will pick you up and take you back to the elevator door to get your car.

This saves a few dollars but it avoids alot of traffic.

I have used this lot twice and plan on using it in jan-feb for my next cruise.

    have fun

  3. Hi,

I am trying to plan my day in Belize city. I am not the normal tourist. I like to walk into the city and explore. Will this be safe?? I have read a few things that make me wonder?

I would like to walk to the swing bridge, possibly to Brodies store and back. How long should I plan for this?? also are there any other must stop places?? possibly a bakery anyplace close.

    thanks for the help

  4. I did use the nocruiseshipparking.com. THEY were great. A little out of the way but covered parking and saved a few dollars. Nice owner who drove and then picked me up. They have parking for busses and large campers if needed.

I plan on using them again in september, much less hastle when unloading.

  5. I would go back in a heart beat, in fact I am. I have a B2B booked in sept/oct and plan to go to uvas at least one of the days and then another B2B in feb and will go back for another day.

Hi to Carmen and Eduardo and all of the staff from the BIG GUY FROM IOWA. Carmen I will try to bring you some snow in february.
