Hi, although I am a mom, and don't have any first hand experience, my kids loved Club O2! My older son did meet people on the boat, some of which he still talks to. There were on the boat relationships too. haha. I know I was charged for roses once. Have fun!

I bought my husband a nice Breitling watch on our last cruise. The watch was $6K and the duty was less than $100 IIRC. I can't even imagine what you bought!

Thanks for the review. You had me refreshing several times a day to see if you posted any more. :) 1 more week and I sail on Anthem!

Ok, Harmony cruise we have to go there. Lisa has no desire to go in August with Owen and honestly she is more of a meat and potatoes girl. She'd tag along if we went as a group but I couldn't get her to go with just me.
Edit: Peer pressure is a wonderful thing.
I am also a meat and potatoes girl and Izumi was nice. I had a hot rock beef tenderloin. :)

That is the gratuity. You are free to tip on top of that but not required to do so.

No, not since the new program has rolled out. I may try again, but not on my sailing this month. :)

The haven on NCL is amazing. Honestly, we stayed in an owners suite on Allure of the Seas, and I don't think I will sail another suite with Royal. There were not enough perks for me to justify the cost. I would do the haven again in a heart beat. :)

I bought my husband a breitling our last cruise. He has also purchased a Tissot on board. I will say don't forget to claim it on your customs form!!!

They do have a package. Is everyone in the same cabin? If so, then you can find the package under the gifts and gear section of your cruise planner. I believe the cost varies per cruise, so I can't answer that. :) Happy Sailing!

You can get coffee with the some of the drink packages. :)

They did fireworks from the Breakaway when we were on board. So it isn't impossible. :) And Disney does it all the time.

When my kids were in the kids clubs, I always tipped at the end of the cruise. It should be based on their experience and how much you utilized the service. There is no one answer. IIRC, my youngest is 14 now, I tipped between $50-$100, but my child LOVED it, and spend a lot of time there. When we would go to pick him up, he would beg to stay.

Great post! I have found a few things I might try on my upcoming cruise!

Thank you! I will keep our reservation at the Ramada then. :)

Hi Carol,
I booked with Trinity reservations following your advice 6 months ago for my cruise in 3 weeks! I can't believe it is almost here. My question is, it appears they are now offering both the Ramada and Spring Hill Suites for a negligible price difference. Which would you recommend?

So if you're in the Haven, do you meet the concierge before every show or just go directly to the show and they'll seat you in the Haven area?
For the main shows, you just proceed to the theater. You do still need to make reservations. There is a section reserved for Haven guests that will open to the public 15 minutes prior to showtime. We met the concierge for the Cirque show and for priority tendering as well as priority debarkation.

My kids really enjoyed it and remember it still today. Are you thinking of the Atlantis excursion? I highly recommend a ship excursion for this as when we did it, we were late coming back. Because it was a ship excursion, I worried a little less. We were still running back to the ship though!

You will have to wait until you get onboard to use the amenity. If you book online, you will be charged at the time of booking.

If you are ever troubled by your zipper again, and happen to have a keyring handy, just loop the ring through the end of the zipper and circle the ring around your button. Zipper will not go down again! Love your review! I'm still debating on Vibe, as we will have Haven access... Decisions Decisions... Looking forward to more! :D

I was looking at excursions and such on my upcoming cruise and noticed this package. Ultimate Dining Package
There's no better way to enjoy our wide selection of delicious specialty dining options than with our Ultimate Dining package. Dine in a specialty restaurant every night of your cruise.
Is this something new? Anyway, it is $119 pp and a specialty restaraunt every night, so if that is something you like, its a bargain!

We were on the NCL Epic in August. Two people died on our sailing (so sad!). The first person died on embarkation day. We had to turn around and go back to Miami. The second person died in Nassau. We were late leaving that port. We still made all of our ports on time, but was sad to think of that happening on vacation.

Thanks for the update. The good news for me, is that I sail the week after that! Still gives my teens a while to salivate.
lol

Hi Mike,
Any idea on when you might be able to post the teen daily?
Thanks. :)
