Unless something has changed, they will go by current age and not let them go up even if they are close to their birthday
Thank you. Do you have any other information on the kids services?

Thank you. It's the Reflection out of Ft. Lauderdale

Last time we sailed Celebrity was a decade ago; we had a baby and preschooler.
We're now looking at a cruise this summer and our children will be 9 and almost 13.
Curious how the kids' clubs work onboard?
Do kids sign themselves in and out, are meals with the camp, how are the activities?
Also are they willing to move kids up to a different age group if it is very close to their birthday(2 weeks)?
Thanks for any advice you can provide. We're excited to get back to X!

This thread is pure silliness.
Why is Disney so expensive? For the same reason Vegas and Reno are not.
THEY DON'T HAVE CASINOS
Cruise lines make more from their casinos than the bar tabs-even with those drink packages.
There are people who will "save money" and go on Carnival, RC or NCL with a $200 Casino package cabin deal. And then sit in there for 7 days straight, blowing thousands at a time.
But if you all want to keep believing it's the "Disney Magic", then continue on...

Is there an age requirement for the classes?

Any photos of the new dishes? Interested to see.

Wish there were more honest posts such as this. So many get scammed into thinking they must use a TA to book a cruise and that couldn't be further from the truth. So much easier to book on your own. Sorry op you are experiencing this.

Will be sailing on Mardi Gras(the day, not the ship) in the future.
Wondering if anyone on board today (or past Fat Tuesdays) could tell us what special activities or food Carnival has for the celebration?
A friend said last year they had a parade, threw beads and there was jazz music and dancing. Is this all standard? Also is it only for cruises leaving out of NOLA?
Thanks for your input. 🙂

^^Is it included with Aurea and YC experiences?
-
Also though we were told we had MSC Silver, on our account online this is not listed. Does it usually update slow?
-
Following because I was about to post an almost identical question.
-
We have the Aurea Experience and were told that this included access to the thermal area.
However we are also given the option to purchase a thermal area cruise pass.
Are these not the same thing? I don't want to pay twice for something that is the same.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

We got Carnival Gold to MSC Silver.
Wondering if anyone here has done a status match with Club Med? We have status there too.

Location, especially on the larger ships.

Sitting on hold for 30 minutes after Carnival group booking department gave me an incorrect phone number.
Website has proven to be unhelpful.
Has anyone here every reserved a space on board for a group event? Could you point me in the direction of how to do this? Or offer advice?
I'm sailing with a large group of 100+, and for only few hours during the cruise about half of us are wanting to reserve a space to hold an event.
The group department I've been working with for cabin bookings said I needed to contact the Events Department, but the number they gave me was wrong.
On their website all I can find is information about weddings.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Just returned from a 14 night with a 7 and 11 year old. Just me as my husband couldn't come. It was great.
Prior to the pandemic we went on a 16 day. They were 5 and 9? My husband did come that time. Also a great cruise.
We homeschool so think of a cruise of a prolonged field trip. Aside from tons of fun, we also incorporate culture, history and geography.
Currently planning a group homeschool cruise, which will include a lot of socialization as well.

Just got off a Panama Canal cruise. There were 2 elegant nights and 1 Captain's Dinner (or something like that). People were the most dressed up for the Captain's Dinner. Moderately dressed for the 1st elegant night, and hardly at all for the final elegant night. The menus were different every night-no repeats.

We haven't sailed since the Pandemic so this could've changed, but in the past they would not honor any gift card with a value under $10.
We have one with $9.87 that is apparently useless. I hang onto it in case they finally change that rule.

Heck yeah! I need a cruise

I'm 100% lost.
Had to cancel our cruise since our children can't come(too young for vaccine).
Just spent 30 minutes on the phone with carnival and they said I could take the credit and re-book the cruise for a later date. My obc is also supposed to be intact.
But when I go on my cruise planner there is nothing there. No credits, no "proof" that I was ever scheduled/ paid for the previous cruise. They have also sent nothing to my e mail.
Anyone have this issue and can give me advice? I'd rather not spend another 30 minutes on the phone.
Thanks in advance
