Just wondering if anyone has taken the Belize Party bus.  Been to Belize three times and always went to Starfish Island.  Looking to branch out something not far from the tender port.  Would like to know if you really get to see any sights or is it just a party bus driving around.

Thinking of doing this the day we are in Belize just to see the "other side."   We have been to Belize three times and have only go to Starfish Island and we are looking to change it up a bit.  Not worried about the drinks, but more interested in the sights that you see.  Any feed back is greatly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me how the beaches are on Caye Caulker?   Wondering if it is worth the ride over.  Looking for a lovely beach/beach bar to spend a few hours at.  However, the the beach is not so great, may just opt out for Barrister Island.

For those NOT snorkeling on this trip, how were the beaches?  Could you swim or was the bottom rocky?  We love to find a beautiful beach place/bar there.  Any recommendations?

YES!   It is BEAUTIFUL.   Love it there.  Have been back there two times.  You are pick up right at the ship if you BOOK THROUGH the ship.  Enjoy!

Where is the best place to catch a taxi to Mr. Sancho's?   The last time we were in Cozumel, we were sent to three different locations for a taxi.  Odd.  In the past we walked off and they were all waiting there.

I really want to do this tour.  Usually in a tender port I always tend to book directly with the cruise line but don't see it offered as an option.  With that said were you really comfortable about them getting you back to ship on time or better yet were the tour guides really good about making sure they had you back on time?  Thank you for taking the time to answer.

Traveling in May (19) and we are really excited about going to Placencia.  Now trying to figure out how to get there.  I just realized that we dock (tender) in Belize City.  There is ferry service from Harvest Caye.  Does anyone have any insight on how to make such a trip happen?  If not can someone recommend another beach excursion.  Thank you in advance for your time.

My husband and I have rented a golf cart for the day. A few questions:

How is driving on the road with the cars?

How long to get around the island?

Any advise on order we should make our stops?

What stops NOT to miss? What should we miss?

Place for a quick bite and a beverage?

What beaches to stop at?

Will be in Freeport on June 2. We are looking at going to Gold Rock Beach. Can anyone tell me how much/cost of the taxi to there are is it difficult to get a taxi back to port? What is the entrance fee? If the water rocky? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Have been to both. If I was to go back it would be to Breezes. Easy access to everything. We did the number 10 going and coming from the resort. Very easy and the locals were really helpful. $1.25 each way! What ever resort you chose, I would bring a chilly mug from home. There is no beach service, you walk for your drinks by the pool and with the heat they melt quickly, not to mention the cups are smaller that what you typically find in Mexico. Great service all around and great food on the grille.

I have no idea when Pate and Diane will reopen. It is all so very sad. We were there last May and again in October. The damage was horrible. It is my understanding that most of the resorts are only half opened. All very sad. I think we are going to Deadman's Reef. The review are good.

If you purchase a bottle for your room, are you allowed to make a drink and take it to pool? Dinner? Or basically anywhere on the ship? Cheers package is out for us. Husband only drinks beer and it wouldn't pay for him. I don't drink beer so trying to find something that is right.

Cigarettes run around $35 for the carton. Sometimes there are specials like three cartons for $90. I believe you are only allowed to bring back one carton. As for the parking fees, I believe we paid $125 last May

We were there last May and it was wonderful. The ocean is outstanding, drinks were cold. I would suggest just taking the # 10 there. It was super easy only take a few minutes and in only $1.25. They locals were wonderful.
