I never go without conditioner, my hair would scream even without saltwater and sun. I wash my hair with conditioner, only use shampoo when it really needs it which isn't often, that said it gets washed at the salon when I get the color done every 4 weeks. It's funny how different everyone is and what is important to them. Hope you enjoyed your cruise, we go in 5 weeks can't wait for it to get here.

Gawd, and I was like please tell me this Salt & Breeze is not adding more salt 😳 Lol, we had packed some Argan oil product that kinda did the job but not really 😂 I just wished I had known!!! Yes cruise was amazing and I miss being on the ship very much, frizzy hair and all 😊

  2. I don’t like packing shampoo, conditioner and soap bc I will just use what’s provided by the hotel/ship and save the room & extra weight for better things. However, on Odyssey, there is just ONE dispenser of soap in the shower called Salt & Breeze and it’s supposed to serve as shampoo and body wash. OK, OK, I get it that the ship is also trying to save on space, but be forewarned that after a week of salt water and whatever, your hair will be screaming for conditioner. Pack accordingly!!! This may seem like a ridiculous post, but believe it or not, there’s folks who love formal night & the photos that go along with it, and do not want to look like David Bowie in Labyrinth. Unless it’s 80s night 😂😂😂

  3. I cam here to ask the same thing. I want to take a taxi from cruise port to Grote Knip. When I look online, all it does is bring me to  a sold out viator excursion for $100. There's got to be a way to just take a taxi there??? Are there reliable taxi stands/options at the port?

  4. It seems all the shore excursions for a Klein Curacao catamaran trip leave at 8 am or 8:30am from Jan Theil…and our ship docks at 8am. Of course booking a non-cruise line affiliated excursion means we are not priority to leave the ship. We have 12 hours in port so it’s crazy to me that I cannot find a 9 hour trip to leave at 9 am. Thoughts? Ideas? Forget the whole thing?

  5. Does Virgin give you the daily newsletter of all the ships activities for that day in the room, or is everything on the app/tablet in the room? I wish I could see an example, like how people post Royal's cruise compass so you can get an idea of happenings on the ship. If it is only on a device, does anyone have a few screenshots of it? Thx

  6. Independence Feb 17 - 21. We stayed in FLL five days before sailing, I had been sick at home, then my husband got sick in FLL, and my son got sick right after him. I just assumed we had gotten a bug but who knows. Anyway, after doing a ho-hum 3 day on Majesty in Oct 17, I booked this bigger ship in a better cabin to see if cruising really was for us. Guess what, it sure was. My son was thrilled the whole time and feeding him was not the anxiety attack it usually is on vacations (not eating dinner we paid for, then hungry the minute we get back to the hotel). I was so ready to start booking more and then it all came to a screeching halt. We are booked on Symphony for NYE and I am so excited.
