  1. I don't have any solid advice, just wanted to say that I am extremely envious as we will be on the Encore in April... WITH our 2.5 yr old twins 😬

I'm also a former bartender and will certainly miss the bar hopping fun this round. If I were in your position, I would consider a spa bid or spa pass for the relaxing, totally kid-free environment. Depending on how many daytime hours you will spend on the ship, it can be a fantastic place to detox and rejuvenate for another night "out." Otherwise I think your location is good, and I probably wouldn't risk a possibly worse location for the mini suite bathroom.

  2. Thanks from us, too! We finally bit the bullet and upgraded to H6 (from mini suite) on the Encore in April. We took the only one left-- 13906. Happy to hear that configuration has the second door in bedroom. Kind of bummed it is the "least deep" deck, but it will still be much more space than we previously had!

  3. Hi,

We're currently booked in an Encore mini suite - my husband, myself and two 2-year-olds. Does anyone happen to know if the side table be moved and the bed be shifted away slightly from the sofa? If we stay in this room, I'm trying to figure out if I could fit an inflatable toddler bed for one kid between the bed and the sofa, and put the other kid on the sofa with an inflatable side rail. Something like the configuration below on the Breakaway. From the photos I've found, it looks like the bed is pretty close to the sofa on Encore and would be a tight fit. I know the toddler bed could go parallel to the sofa, but that may block either bathroom or balcony access. Any insight is appreciated!

  4. Hello! My husband and I are currently booked in a mid-ship mini suite with our 2 (almost 3) YO twins. I am considering an upgrade to the Haven, specifically Category H8 - The Haven Suite - Connecting Stateroom, Rm 11106. My husband and I have sailed in a mini suite on the Epic, however I am thinking the extra space/separation may be worth it with the kids at this age.

My question: Is there any way to tell how big the balcony is for a specific room? From the photos and video I have found, it appears the balconies are either comparable to the standard mini suite balconies or even smaller and partially enclosed. That's a factor for me, as DS still naps a LOT and we will be spending more time in the room than we are used to. TIA!
