I have a similar problem with no response from Seabourn. Do you have an email address for Richard Meadows? Thank you.

try RMeadows@Seabourn.com or Attention Kirby Lee (assistant) through GuestRelations@Seabourn.com

Good Luck, unfortunately based on our experiences with Seabourn, they are not very proactive or too responsive--best to keep trying to get some results.

  2. Seabourn Guest Service is not "Passenger/Guest" oriented, they feel and act pompous, versus truly understanding 1st Class Service. They are living on their long ago past reputation and have not kept with today's world and standards and competitors. Suggest you direct all communication to Richard Meadows President CEO to see if you get a response. We were on our 1st and last Seabourn cruise in December & January, couldn't wait to get off, since the overall experience, food, Management attitude was lacking, plus they just seemed not to care at all about guest needs, health or poor ship ongoing problems.

  3. While I appreciate and empathize will many of the comments and opinions, since we were on the Ovation in December and January, there were many people who were coughing and were sick from the Flu and some quarantined to their cabins.  Which we learned the hard way as we both contracted intestinal  and Flu symptoms, from other guests and the unsanitary conditions on the ship.  The ship management was in complete denial that anything was wrong and the Medical Staff wasn't a bit helpful, more like complete arrogance and disavowal that anything was wrong at all.  Recently we came across the following from Steve Wozniak, who along with his wife Janet who we personally met and was on our cruise, and had symptoms as well.

Was it coronavirus? Steve Wozniak says he doesn't know if he and his wife were infected

I would be concerned since no one wants to be put into harms way and suffer as we did, with no assistance from the ship.

  4. We have cruised with Regent on several voyages and last Summer went on our first Oceania cruise on the Marina and were very pleasantly surprised.  Food was excellent and service levels were good too, we stayed on Concierge Level and were very happy with our cabin and especially our Steward.  Since the Oceania cruise was to the British Isles we were off the ship the majority of the cruise and didn't necessarily missed the 'all inclusive' of Regent as much, although we had many extra's included as well.  The Marina reminded us of the early days on the Mariner, so we were very comfortable with the ship layout and guest camaraderie, which made the cruise very enjoyable.  But make no mistake, Regent and Oceania are both more 'guest centric than Seabourn who appears to be living on its past laurels and just doesn't measure up to today's Luxury Standards!

  5. I read with interest the various opinions on Seabourn and Regent, and since we have cruised on both lines on several occasions, thought I would weigh in on the matter.  We recently cruised on the Seabourn Ovation and based on the experiences we had, would never recommend Seabourn to anyone who wanted or thought they were going to receive '1st Class or a 5 Star Experience'.  There were so many issues with our cabin having brown water and scalding hot or ice cold showers, along with malfunctioning air conditioning, inedible and raw food, no sanitary wipes in the fitness area's and a Hotel Director Helmut who had an ego bigger than the entire ship!  The lack of attention to detail, service, guests who were sick, coughing and the ship being in denial that anything was wrong was appalling!  We are going back to Regent, where at least they value you as a guest and understand 1st Class Service.
