You definitely can call them and "load" money to your onboard account. I just did this about a week ago as a gift for someone. I called Royal up, provided the booking number and amount, they asked if I wanted to send a message with it, then took my cc and email. I had email confirmation before I hung up

We just booked a Harbour View King suite at the Auberge. Walking distance to the terminal, and a good rate for us at about 330 USD for the night. We're on the May 29, 2022 sailing and considered the Pan Pacific but we found the bedding situation awkward for our group since they only offer 2 doubles, or a king + rollaway if available for an extra fee.
You can see the harbour/terminal between the high rises, and you're relatively close to several areas we wanted to see. We'll likely get a bus pass to get around for our sightseeing.
I've never stayed there, but reviews are good so after comparing about 10 hotels in the area, this is where we decided on. Hope that helps. 🙂

Curious to know, if you don't wish to share I understand, did they update your existing CDC card to reflect booster date/batch # or give you another card?
In my experience, they prefer to add it to your first card if they can. The handful of people in my life who have already gotten their booster, it was always added to the first card.
In my case, Walmart used stickers big enough to cover 2 lines for the lot numbers, so my 4 lines of space was fully covered. Walgreens gave me a 2nd card, crossed off where it said 1st dose and wrote in 3rd. I'll be carrying around two cards now when I travel.

Thanks Biker! I wasn't sure if they trended lower on the smaller ships since I haven't done one yet. I'll plug the numbers I have in and see how things look. Worst case scenario, no one will get angry if we over estimate prices and things end up cheaper.

Hello everyone,
My family is considering a family cruise to Alaska next summer, and I'm running some numbers for the group. To get a better comparison against NCL and Princess, I was hoping someone could assist with providing me some average cruise planner costs since my only upcoming cruise at the moment is on an Oasis class.
The specific Royal cruises I'm using for my comparison are the June 5-12 on Serenade of the Seas and June 6-13 on Quantum of the Seas, but I know the Royal Cruise Planner games so I know price will vary and jump. If someone can help with providing ranges or current prices on the following I'd greatly appreciate it:
Dining
-UDP
-3 Night Package
Drinking
-Deluxe Package
-Refreshment Package
Internet
-Voom Surf 2 devices
If anyone also wants to provide general advice, go for it! We're a grandma, 3 married couples, and 2 kids. There's a 10 yo who prefers doing activities with the adults and may not appreciate being dropped at a kids club, and a 3 yo who is currently non verbal. With our wide range of activity levels I'm hoping with research I'll find that Quantum is a great fit at a great price, or that the add on prices make the prices for NCL Bliss justified. Serenade is in the running mainly because it sails from Vancouver so you don't lose time making a port stop in Canada.
Thanks in advance!

I emailed about how long the coverage is a few days ago because the website said for sailings through October 31, but the linked document with the terms and conditions said December 31st.
I didn't get a reply, but when I went back and checked the website it is now updated and says sailings through December 31st.

Walgreens has the IDNow NAAT test as mentioned, but they also offer BinaxNOW which is an antigen test. As long as it was processed by the pharmacy, it should qualify (as opposed to buying the kit and doing it yourself at home). I just had a BinaxNOW test this past weekend at a Walgreens near me and received emailed results within 2 hours.

Keep in mind that all insurance companies are setting their own rules. My insurance company is covering 100% of the cost, not just $12.
