I have family on a Viking cruise now - they have been on the ship for 2 months  or close.  their ports have been changed quite a bit and no one new is allowed to board. they are having the BEST TIME ever! 

Honestly, if I had the means, I would rather be stuck on a ship sailing from port to port than anywhere else

 Even on the days when they are just restocking and not disembarking they are having a good time.

I read an article yesterday by a travel blogger out of Italy whi made some good points. Italy has been screening everyone since the outbreak began, so its logical the have more cases because they are looking. Typically viruses die off in hot temps, so by summer should be settled. Hang in there!

Most definitely it has!  You have also eased my mind about my choice to explore most of the ports by foot or the local way 🙂 we have booked a boat safari in Flam and but are most likely to explore our own or take a taxi or train as opposed to organized tours at each spot. I will be taking some tips from Carol on pre purchasing a few things directly.

Norris ( and Carol), I found your report in planning for my family's first cruise, the Silhouette sailing in June. What a lovely writing style and photographic eye you have! Thanks for sharing. Am looking forward to the rest.
