Just got the email our July 2023 cruise was cancelled due to redeployment:(
On to finding a new destination.

I have read a ton of horror stories so I understand peoples reservations when using NCL for air. We are flying from CA to FL and I'm concerned about arriving on time. Will they do same day flights? Or is it the day before?

Thanks everyone 🙂☺️🙂☺️

The regular balconies are small. You get two chairs and a small side table. The chairs have to face almost lengthways so you can't face them to the sea and fit your legs. But they are still good places to sit. I was in 12200 for one cruise and then, for the next cruise went for a large balcony room which did indeed have a larger balcony with the 2 chairs but this time with a table that you could eat at as well as 2 loungers. It was on deck 9 but does jut out so the people above can see you if you stand at the rail and you can see down onto the balconies on deck 8 (which are even larger). But if you sit at the back of the deck then you can't be seen. These cabins are at the front of the ship.
Do you happen to remember the room number for deck 9? I am taking my mom and she is really looking forward to hanging out on the balcony so just want her as comfy as possible 🙂

Hey y'all 🙂
So I am booking a cruise on the Getaway and was looking for some suggestions for balcony rooms. Trying to find a good size balcony that is quiet. Not worried about front or back etc. Any seasoned cruisers have any suggestions?

Who is telling you it is not allowed? While I have not done it I read on this forum about people doing it on Carnival all the time. As I recall it is an option during check-in.
So apparently they are talking about requiring an enhanced driver's license.

I am currently trying to confirm boarding ID needed. My mother doesn't have a passport we are doing a 3 day cruise out of Long Beach. I just did a small one with her on NCL with her driver's license and her birth certificate and it was fine. Now I am being told for carnival that is not allowed?
We did get her a passport but is has not as of now arrived. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Does anybody have any experience with this? Can you take a shuttle to meet a tour guide? Any input would be great it's my mom's 60th birthday and I'm trying to surprise her with something she's never got to experience.

So I purchased 3 certificates during the last sailing we were on. My family was looking into sailing to Alaska and we need 3 rooms or the Haven. My question is how many certs can be used for the Haven? Is it still only one? None? I'm trying to find the best way for all of us to go and have the best time :0)

Thanks y'all :0)

Hello
We are in category 8B room 6338 on the Radiance and wanted opinions. Is it a good location? Sorta quiet and easy to get in and out of? Do you have any suggestions for a different cabin? I still have time to move of I didn't pick a good one. :0)

Been sailing Carnival over 16 years and in slecting cabin location- our preferences have changed over years. But traveling with Senior parents so having a lido room helped with convenience.
1.) when looking at cabin location look at that same location above you, as well as below.2.)Look at “empty squares (usually cream colored on deck maps) they are usually crew pantry, laundry, just a louder area in am especially.
3.)Avoid a room short distance from lido entrances or atrium as noise tends to travel down hall & up.
4.) also I like mid decks levels and midship (middle) location if possible.
5.)Have sailed out of Long Beach twice and another in June - any logistic questions just ask. Such as Long beach terminal
Thank you so much. Does the LB port have decent parking? We were gonna use hotel but would rather hop off and jet out if we can.

Do you have the funtimes still *bats eyes* you'd make my mom so happy if you did lol. She's going on her first cruise and just wants an example of what's to come. Thank you for all your info it has been truly helpful

Is it possible to see any past funtimes?

Awesome thanks for the info. I am excited that she actually is wanting to go so I am hoping this gets her feet wet for a 7day later :0)
Does the room have a little fridge in it?

Hey y'all 🙂
This is my first cruise with Carnival and I'm kinda confused on a few things. It says I can get an upgrade I am not sure what that means. Also any general tips for cruising from seasoned cruisers for travelling with Carnival? It's my mom's bday and we are just taking a 4 day cruise as she has never been on one before ❤️

Where can you get soda once onboard? Do the restaurants offer soda as an option? Is it included if you have the package?

If your booking was made through Casinos at sea, then yes. Everyone over 21 if in your cabin will get one.
Awesome thank you 😁

If you are traveling in the same stateroom, or even if in different staterooms but under a single reservation, you will be given the opportunity when completing your reservation info of specifying whether each guest is to have a separate onboard account, or if the primary passenger will be responsible for all charges by each person in the room or listed on the reservation. Set up your account so it works best for you.
Thank you ❤️

Thanks for being patient and answering all of my questions in advance. My brother is purchasing credit for us and it's giving the option to do either me or my daughter (23) I am the primary. My question is does it matter? Can she use it if it's under my name? How does that work?

So we are heading out on Feb 27th and I am trying to find out if Cabo or PV has any lockers or what you all suggest to do with belongings. I know not to take a ton of stuff etc but how does everyone keep items safe? Do you just take turns in the water or?
