  1. We will be cruising on MSC Grandiosa on January 3rd from Genoa on YC.

Me and my wife are fully vaccinated, even with the 3rd dose. Our min concern is to find a laboratory in Genoa or Venice to do the Covid 19 test before we board the ship. We will be on Venice December 30 thru January 1.

    Regards from Puerto Rico.

  2. Hi to all,

Will be on the MSC Grandiosa on January 3 fron Genoa.

Can someone recommend us a good laboratory for the Covid 19 test prior to board the ship?

Will be on Rome on December 29, to Pisa on the 30th and on Venice on the 31 and New Year, so maybe the will leave Venice on the 1st to go to Genoa.

Any good experience on a laboratory near the port? We are fully vaccinated (with the 3rd dosis both, me and my wife).

    Regards from Puerto Rico.

  3. In my case, I was booked on MSC Magnifica on December 19 from Genoa on 12 day /11 nights to Greece and Israel. I read a few weeks later that the Magnifica will be deployed in Saudi Arabia so that move will cancel my cruise for sure.

A few days later, I receive a call from customer service explaining all I mentioned, and they offer a $200 credit per cabin if we re booked to another cruise because of the cancellation.

I did it and they apply the credit, now I`m booked on MSC Grandiosa Yatch Club on January 3, hoping everything will be fine and no more changes will take place. Crossing my fingers!!!!.

    Regards from Puerto Rico!!!!

I can't find anything for Grandiosa or Bellissima. Are there cabin pics/vids floating about?

    Thanks

    Hi,

There are many Youtube videos on MSC Grandiosa cabins, it`s the first one of the Meraviglia Plus class, sister twin of the Virtuosa.

thank you both, we are looking at first MSC Cruise in mar 22 on the 11 day on Magnifica joining in Rome. we are diamond on RCI but want to try something different. little concerned on the food reviews but the price is right..any input on the food??

    and greetings from Texas......

    Hi,

Food is quite good, not superb, but is very good. Per my experience the food on MSC Divina was  a whole lot better in Miami than the food on Meraviglia sailing from Barcelona. Food on the Divina has more flavor than food on the Meraviglia, which was "plain food", but not bad. Gelato on Meraviglia is incredibly good!!!! So knowing the difference the food of both ships, and sailing again from Europe this December, I`m pretty sure the food will be "plain" with not a lot of flavor. Pizza is fantastic, best in the sea!!! I`ve been on four Princess ships and I can say I will be an MSC traveler for a long time!!! For the price they can be beat!!!!! Booked on MSC Seashore for 2022.

    Greetings from Puerto Rico.

  6. Hi everyone!!

According to MSC`s press area, the Magnifica will make 2 itineraries for the winter season 2021-22.

MSC Magnifica will offer extended 11-night cruises with two different itineraries for those looking for a little more adventure next winter. The first starts in Genoa and then to Greece, calling Katakolon, Piraeus and Rhodes before reaching Haifa in Israel where the ship remains overnight allowing a full day to discover ashore, then on to Heraklion, Civitavecchia and back to Genoa.

The itineraries are only available to book until mid November. Anyone knows if it will be available on December and January doing the Haifa (Israel) itinerary? Thinking maybe it will be stretch and refurbished as was scheduled on March 2021 and that`s the reason it is only available until mid November of 2021.

I will love to booked for late December/early January of 2022. My wife is insisting on the Haifa itinerary!!!

Please let me know of any news or rumours.

    Thanks and regards.

  7. Hi, just hoping MSC will bring a ship and use Puerto Rico soon as home port for some of their ships, the Divina should be an excellent alternative, it`s the right moment to bring one of their ships at least for the winter season,  or maybe full year. Carnival had the Fantasy for quite some time and Royal had the Freedom of the Seas, and had announced they will replace it with the Explorer of the Seas, an older and smaller ship than the Freedom. NCL will bring again the Epic for the winter season of 2021, we need an MSC ship sailing from Puerto Rico!!!!

    Regards

  8. Both ships are an excellent choice, been on the Meraviglia from Barcelona and was a fantastic experience and stunning ship.

Maybe a good option should be an in between the Armonia and Meraviglia, how about the Divina, been twice on her and is gorgeous!!!

  9. Hi,

I`m booked for the May 31st cruise, a 13 day/12 night from Southampton on the Magnifica. Not totally convinced because of the pandemic, just looking very carefully how things goes the next weeks.

Another thing that motivate us was the stretch and renovation that was going to take place on the ship, unfortunately rumours indicate that has been postponed for a later date.

    Regards from Puerto Rico!!!

  10. I booked two hours ago on the Virtuosa for May 29, 2021, Grand Suite on Aurea Experience. The 10 days MCS Fantasia for June 2021 was cancelled by MSC but no news regarding a refund offer. Should receieve the money I paid in 60 days.

So, MSC has acknowledged that the Virtuosa will not be ready to sail until 2022 due to the pandemic holding up construction, can someone then please tell me why the MSC Website (and others) are taking bookings for next spring and summer.

    2022?

Just wondering the same... it should be ready to travel for summer 2021, the Northern Europe season.
