And it DOES feel like the flu in many ways. I had body aches and felt super unwell. I thought it WAS the flu at first, but the symptoms are generally gone already.

I just got off the Dream and got the Norovisrus. Disney does a great job of trying to keep it at bay. It has a very fast onset. On day 3 we got up, ate breakfast at Cabanas, changed into beach attire, and got off the ship. The island is very beautiful. We walked most of the way and took the tram the rest of the way to Serenity Beach. We were looking forward to the lunch at Cookies as we had heard it was very good. The funny thing is, when I smelled it, I felt sick to my stomach. From that point on I felt weak, nauseated, severe stomach pain, didn't want to eat, the thought of food made me sick, the smell of food made me sick. I just laid in my room and the rest is a blur. It took about 24 hours to feel better. It can happen to anyone, anywhere....

The ship is just beautiful. The crew is amazing. The food was superb. Disney takes every precaution to spread any disease, so it isn't their fault, but be advised the NoroVirus is alive and well. We missed Castaway day as it has a very fast onset, stomach pain, sever nausea, flu like symptoms. It lasts about 24 hours, but on a 3 day cruise, you can miss a lot. Just letting people know that it can happen to anyone, anywhere! I hope to try and do this cruise again in the future with a better outcome!

It appears that it will be cool and rainy for our upcoming 3 day cruise. I'm wondering if our Castaway day will be scrubbed. Is there anything that is indoors at Castaway Cay? Picnic areas covered? I'm trying to remain optimistic, but not sure how much the rain will effect our time there. Thanks for any info you can provide!

Can you take your bag to breakfast?

If all I have to carry on and off the ship is a small wheeled piece of luggage, am I allowed to do this myself or do I have to put the luggage tags on it and let them take it? Thanks!

Does the cruise ship dock for a direct way to get off the ship at Castaway Cay or do you take a boat to get to the island?

I use the Go Smile ampules at home and they work great. The treatment they do on the ship involves light therapy and can leave your teeth very sensitive. Whiting DOES NOT harm your teeth if they are healthy. You can get a Go Smile kit at Ulta or Sephora for half the cost of on ship and works just as well.

Rhonda- I have that same dress from Roamans in Navy Blue. The bottom half is so flowy. You will love it. My husband is Air Force so I wear it to a lot of Balls. Have gotten a lot of mileage with it!

If you have symptoms, you are quarantined to your room with no food to be delivered. That part is mute because if you have it, you won't WANT to leave your room and food is the LAST thing you want!
