  1. If this is the only time you will be in Alaska then do all you can. I am doing the double Denali in June and as it gets closer to the time I keep thinking why didn't I do the Yukon as well.

Well I know why. I really thought i would go again. Originally 3 years ago price was a consideration as well as the time off work. now 3 years later I have a much more "go for it" attitude. Covid has changed lives.

But if you do not have to limit yourself.. Don't !

  2. I have experienced this more than a few times. 3 seems to be my number every time I go.

I have had 3 in the Neptune suite and 3 in a regular Cerandah I got up early and everyone else slept in. I was in bed by 10:30 (yes shameful) and the lights were on till midnight.

Being the youngest I got the short straw of the sofa bed. The bed was fairly comfortable but yes walking around it was a pain. Lucky for my roomies with my early rising I was able to put up my bed in the mornings early and allow more room when the other two got up. There was plenty of space for luggage and clothes for all 3 of us. Using a shoe bag/cosmetic bag hung over the bathroom door made counter space not an issue at all.

Breakfast on the Balcony is an every morning thing with us and the stewards did an amazing job setting it up for us each morning.

As long as you can decide peacefully who gets the couch I think 3 is totally doable.

  3. this is a bit off topic but I see quite a few Suite goers on Holland America. I am in my first suite on the Eurodam coming up in November. I was wondering about the pillow selection available for Suites. I have to have my contour pillow that I take everywhere but wondered if by chance that contour pillows might be an offering?  Anyone know?  I do not want to schlep my own around if they have them.
