I cancelled my cruise 2 weeks ago and opted for a refund. I am still waiting for the money. Apparently their system was down and the uk office is still waiting for permission from the Miami office to make payments. They cannot tell me when I might get the refund.
Its thousands of pounds . My feeling is that NCL are hoping that customers will opt for the credit so they don't have to pay out enormous amounts of money.
At the moment I am not certain I will ever get my money back
