Thanks jbanana! We are thinking of taking my boys in February on the same itenerary that we did in June but in reverse (Nassau, Freeport then Key West). Starting the planning stages now and yes, there will be a review for that cruise as well. Even though its the same itenerary doesnt mean it will be the same review right? :) Gonna make sure we hit some spots we wish we had gone to before.

Nancy, what "spots" would you go back to hit? We leave in 15 days on that itinerary and it sounds like we have a lot of the same interests (including bar set up :))!

Hey, Nancy! After looking at what we're doing on our August 21 sailiing - catamaran and snorkeling in Nassau, Our Lucaya beach fun in Freeport and general wandering and frivolity in Key West - I realized "Holy cow! We're following the same plan as Nancy and The A!" Aside from not wearing jeans in threatening weather, what's your take on your time in ports? Any suggestions or "if I had to do it again..."?

We live in Mt. Pleasant, too, and we always take Charleston Black Cab to the terminal. They are soooo roomy and easy to get in and out of. They also have very good air conditioning!

Thanks for the tip - I've seen those great cabs around town. I'm sure they know what they're doing and where they're going!

We live in Mt. Pleasant and are sailing August 21 and like you, we're planning on taking a cab to the terminal (not sure which company to call yet). I am so glad to hear that the local cab companies are getting better knowledge of the SPA area and drop off procedures. Hopefully, our boarding will take a short amount of time like yours - it's gonna be a hot one!
