If I get my refunds as requested and on time, I’ll remain a loyal NCL customer. These are unprecedented times and every company has struggled to adapt.

I too will continue to cruise with NCL as I love the ships, food, activities and crew. I just hope they actually come through 😞  Three months is a long time to wait and worry.

I sympathize with your dilemma but can't give you any direction, other than to point out that you are just approaching the 90 day mark, depending on when you submitted your refund request - not 4 months.

Oh hahaha, thank you!  Feels like four months!  I submitted on Feb 10 so of course you are right 🙂

  3. Unfortunately a friend and I are still waiting for refunds promised from NCL's February 6, 2020 cruise in Southeast Asia aboard the Norwegian Jade (Singapore to Thailand to Cambodia to Vietnam to HongKong).  When we boarded the cruise on Feb. 6, we were advised that we would not be ending in HongKong as planned, and were told to change our flights to leave from Singapore instead of HongKong and we would be reimbursed for change fees, would be refunded 10% of the cruise fee, and would receive a 25% future cruise credit.  We received this in writing.  On the third morning, we had arrived in Bangkok, the first port, and were lined up to leave on our excursion.  Several of us (approx. 83) were pulled out of line and escorted to a room, where the captain arrived an hour later and told us Vietnam wouldn't allow the ship to dock because our flights had transited through HongKong on the way to Singapore.  When asked what that meant, he said 'to put it bluntly, you all have to get off the ship'.  We were given 24 hours to book new flights out of Bangkok (BKK) to home in Canada, pack our belongings and leave. We received a letter promising that we would be refunded the full amount of the cruise, our dining and beverage packages, the cost of the new flights, and the cost of the taxi to get to BKK.  This was to be paid in 10 to 15 business days.

It has been over four months since I completed the form online, and I have written several emails, and all I have received are basically two boiler plate emails... "thank you for your patience".  The only funds I received were $150.08 Cdn for two excursions.

I am so disappointed and disillusioned by this, and am uncertain what to do at this point.  I am currently out of pocket approximately $6000 Cdn at this point plus the FCC.
