Actually the girl asked to see the live link on mine. I tried and said internet not connected. I said ok you figure out how to see the link live. She said she was apple I was android. So she said well then other girl looked at the copy of my test.

Its stuff like this giving people stress, the inconsistencies.

And you don’t have to to show it, unless they have a warrant to search your phone. And that’s a bs story anyway…

Has anyone tested positive within a few weeks from your sail date but got a negative test for your 48 hour test and was allowed to board without issue?  (being fully vaccinated and having that documentation as well)

Our scenario:  DD (fully vaccinated)  tested positive on  what will be 11 days prior to sail date.  She took another test what will be 7 days from sail date and is negative. She remains in quarantine since her positive.  I was tested and am negative  (her darling momma and traveling companion)  We will be taking the 48 hour covid tests  in 3 days.

Million dollar question ( I have combed through all the rules, regulations, protocols,  and everything in between I feel) Does a positive covid 14 days or less cause problems with being allowed to board if our 48 hour test is negative and  we are fully vaccinated?    Man oh man, do we need a vacation. This is stressful!

How would they know? If I tested positive before then tested negative, bet your azz id still be going lol

  3. They just glanced at the at test results on my 8/21 horizon cruise. One could easily forge the document with pdf editor and they wouldn’t be none the wiser. Also security screening of bags was extremely lax, they were just pushing ppl they the process as quickly as possible with zero attention to details. Additionally they didn’t even take my rum from the rum factor my tour in amber cover. I took it straight to my room lol

matter of fact on my November I’m gonna bring extra wine.

Thank you!   I will give them a call.   Yes I want to make sure they accept him before I book flights.    I know a lot can change but want to cover my bases.  We might actually have to change cruise lines.    Both NCL and Royal will accept him.

They aren’t offering the additional shot for travel purposes here in Ontario, at least not at this time.

    Thank you for the info.

Nope you won’t be sailing out of the us on any ship with that combo.

As Patti usually does, she heads out to start taking pictures. She likes to get started before the ship gets to crowded. She starts out with the Reflection Restaurant which is the one level mid ship restaurant on Deck 3 just off the lobby. This is the restaurant where those with traditional dining will eat…..

Just got off the Carnival Horizon. It was a fantastic 6-day cruise to Amber Cove, Half Moon Cay and Bimini. The ship had about 2,800 passengers onboard and it was obvious as there were little to no lines for anything. As others have mentioned there was no social distancing or masking onboard. We went to all of the shows on board (3 playlist shows, 4 different comics throughout doing upwards of 16 shows, etc.). I will say if you are choosing between comedy or playlist, comedy all the way. The vocals from the playlist cast were pretty atrocious, they’ve clearly cast for a specific look and dancing ability but forgot vocals are more important. The Horizon band and vocalists were great. The food was alright, the steakhouse was a bit disappointing, services was not great there. The main dining room was good and the service was very fast, out in under an hour, except formal nights, those were about 1.5 hours. The buffets were trimmed down, usually only running one station mid and aft vs the normal times of two stations mid and aft. Pizza was always available and fresh with essentially no line ever, same for Guy’s and Blue Iguana.

Overall the vibe on the ship was extremely relaxed and folks were happy to be cruising. Also, there were a ton of first-time Carnival cruisers onboard.

Last item of note for those that care, there are 3 ways to get a printed Fun Times if you’re looking for one. 1) Guest Services, 2) Print then yourself at Internet Cafe, and 3) Red Frog and Blue Iguana on lido had them available (other bars did as well throughout ship). Finally, the Carnival Hub app worked very well except one night, but it was great for planning the activities as you could favorite what you wanted to see and it would send you a notification 15 minutes prior to it starting. Also, it allows you to see the various activities throughout the week, so you can plan your week out in advance (very helpful for planning around specialty dining).

Now that I’ve given more of a review than I planned, I will open it up to any questions. I went all over the ship and did as much as possible, so ask me anything you want to know about being back onboard or the cruise. We also did an excursion in Amber Cove and Bimini, both were a lot of fun!

What do you want to know?

Did you catch Covid or know anyone that has?

Cheers is per person, not per cabin. The requirement is that every person in the cabin over 21 have it.

    They should refund it.

Well they won’t, so there’s that!

Each adult assigned to the same stateroom must purchase the program.  This applies even if your stateroom-mate doesn’t drink.  Both must purchase it.

    it is also NON-REFUNDABLE.

I hear reading is fundamental in life lol! Good luck
