  1. Went into carnival hub to purchase some upsale dinner options, and a huge list of dinning experience to purchase showed up. Does anyone know anything about these options which seem to be classes that teach you to cook and then you eat dinner that you cooked maybe.

  2. So awesome that life still goes on and this will not get us down. I love having such an awesome hope of the future. And with all of us faithful cruisers we will get the cruise lines up and running again! We refuse to let this stop our fun! I will not be afraid, I'll be wise but never afraid!!

My wife and I realized awhile back that we give the kids spending money before any vacation.  For Disney we typically give them about $50 per kid for souvenirs.  Then we also let them know they are welcome to save additional money if they want even more spending money.  Then when we are on vacation we don't have to worry about small costs adding up and the kids do a really good job deciding what they want to spend it on.  Before when we just had them ask and we would buy they would want anything and everything and a lot of the stuff they would get they wouldn't even look at again.  Now they are very selective and spend the money pretty wisely.

Anyway with that said if there was a gameroom my kids wanted to play I would let them know there was a night where it was 1/2 off if they really wanted to play and they could use their souvenir money for that purpose.

Great idea, I'm going to do this!

Most of the time they don’t really know when the ship will be cleared to board. It happens when it happens. I was on the Legend going to Australia in 2014 and they decided to have a ship inspection, and we didn’t board until 2pm.

Asfar as you check in in Jacksonville, maybe they aren’t as strict or haven’t started the online check in yet.

Wow, how does that work for a wedding party?

I think that priority boarding would work the same- it's not a Journeys cruise that doesn't have FTTF. So unless I'm wrong (and hey- it's happened before!) then the boarding process would be the same- wedding parties, then Diamonds, then Platinums, then Suites, then FTTF... then the rest by zone. Note I am specifically referring to boarding, not check in time, before anyone corrects me on that!

So I will still need to register for a check in time?

  6. isn't the Chef's Table the same on all ships? If you book the Chef's table, you will get an email confirmation without a date. There will be a card in your cabin telling you the day and time.

Do they take into consideration when you have other activities booked?
