Does anyone know why nothing would be listed for next winter yet? I need to find something for next year… and nothing is there! 😲
Nothing out of Miami or Port Canaveral from Dec ‘24 - March ‘25.

Alcohol free wine…Wouldn’t that be called grape juice? 😝

USB next to the bed, and not an outlet, right?
Just watched a YouTube video of a YC cabin on Seascape, and I can't believe in this day and age of so many people using CPAP machines, that the new builds don't at least have one outlet next to the bed.
Do you mean so many Americans getting fatter and unhealthier… thus the need for CPAP?

My partner and I are from Florida and we have had the opportunity to sail on just about every brand but we recently sailed on Crystal . We have never seen so many openly gay and relaxed couples. On a ship that was booked to 450 there had to be at least two dozen gay couples. We have come to prefer Regent just because is seems to fit us the best but we had an amazing time on Crystal and would book them again in a heartbeat.
Have you ever written a review comparing the different lines? I’d be very interested to read your experiences/take a ways.

We have a cruise coming up on Millennium in a RS. First time on X. How do we go about reserving the bottles (or trying) we would like?

I know a few people that were on the Valiant Lady mermaiden cruise this weekend and it certainly looked fun! So many pics and vids on insta and I’m sure lots of YouTube content will follow, however I’m still not sold on Virgin Voyages. Food is meant to be outstanding but I really don’t like the cabin style, tiny pool deck and the style over substance vibe onboard. It all seems a bit too ‘try hard’ and too far removed from the traditional cruise experience I love.
I feel the same. I’ve tried a few times to get excited about Virgin, but every time I look or read reviews I get the feeling I’d be underwhelmed and disappointed if we booked on them.

I booked directly with Celebrity and specifically asked if we had perks. I was told "you are in a suite, so everything is included". Well, not true. Thanks to this thread, I called today to find out before boarding. BUT the interesting thing I wanted to point out here is that I was told today that even though I am in a Sky Suite on the Edge that I won't have access to Retreat. Seems odd. I am waiting on a call back from a Supervisor to confirm.
I’d love to hear how this turns out. That seems really odd

I guess NCL thinks maybe DeSantis order will have impact:

So there you have it, PuraVida. Nothing to worry about. Have a great cruise!
Glad to hear! Hope that’s how it comes to be 😉

So, NCL is requiring all to have a vaccine to sail. But what about cruises sailing out of Florida. Now that DeSantis has signed into law that no business can ask for proof of vaccine, how will that work? Will NCL need to bow to FL state law, or go with the CDC requirement of vaccinated crew and passengers?

We’re booked on the Jewel going Miami to San Diego via the canal on Nov.29 2021. I really figured this sailing would be safe, but now... not so much 😑

Congrats on 30 years! We’re booked on NCL Jewel Miami to San Diego late November 2021 going through the Panama Canal. Looking forward to a “back to normal” cruise!

Actually, I used CruiseNext (NCL) to take care of the deposit.
-
Oh wow! So I can’t even pay the upcharge to get the cancel for any reason if I wait past the timeframe? And just to make sure.. using FCC or CruiseNext to make a deposit counts as the initial payment date, correct?
-
Forgive my stupidity... for what reason do you need to buy insurance within 14 (or 21) days of making the initial deposit? I thought I was good in assuming that so long as it was purchased by the time the final payment was made, I was good to go.
Confused...

I lived in Costa Rica for 6 years and never once wore pants the entire time.. doing plenty of “tourist-y” things like various tours. You’ll be just fine with shorts 😉
Any new rumblings on sailing out of Tampa?

Misspelling
I couldn’t find anything other than when MSC was going to do the Armonia out of Tampa in 2020. I guess that was scrapped. I’m interested to see if anything else is in the works for MSC out of Tampa in the future.
