  1. I have read on other forums that once the yacht club tent is up on the dock, usually about 10.30 you can go and prepare to board. You may not necessarily get on the ship then but you will be taken through to a comfy lounge and served drinks and snacks whilst waiting

  2. cruising the med on splendida next month leaving from Marseille. does anyone know if its a pcr of lft test we need to board? if its lft can we can use chronomics or similar to get our lft certificate for boarding or do we have to visit a site and get it done?

  3. Booked on a cruise in April with MSC and are driving to Marseille and parking. Can anyone tell me how far the carpark is on the terminal, maybe what terminal MSC go from. Do we just park and walk or is there transfer buses?

    many thanks

  4. I have done a few cruises with Msc and one with royal Caribbean. I went back to Msc! I found the food better, as its an Italian cruise line the pizza and pasta are great but if you like deep pan American pizza not so good! I have never found any food I disliked on there. I have always found the staff very accommodating and friendly and find msc a lot more relaxing and less structured. the shows tend to be more acrobatic or singing so as to avoid spending hours explaining in 4-5 different languages. I suppose a cruise is each to their own. For me as long as I get fed and watered, can be relaxed and I can get to see the places I want to see that's all that matters!

  5. just booked ours for easter 2022 and decided to go yacht club as it was a very reasonable price. Hopefully all will have calmed down by then. we have sailed with Mac many times but never in yacht club so really looking forward to it. Cant wait to get back cruising and travelling again.

  6. We have done many cruises with MSC but finally going yacht club with our 16 year old next year. Neither myself or her eat fish and the menus always have a reasonable amount of fish on them. We have always asked for a copy of the children's menu and both of us have ordered from this in the main dining room plenty of times. We often do a mixture of both menus and it has never been an issue!

I am assuming from reading this thread there is a children's menu in yacht club? can anyone post a copy please

  7. we have had many cruises with MSC on their various ships. We are considering going for yacht club this time. Apart from the obvious private areas and the concierge is there anything else that is different? Are you allowed any drink on board or still limited to a price range? I assume you can still go and eat in the buffet if you want to at lunch time?

    thanks
