Children under 12 are not vaccinated and parents have to request an exemption for them to sail. Even though children make up only 5% they are still onboard.
Just read a post from someone who got off the Horizon and they made the comment that they were not enforcing making these children wear their masks…..
Sure, I suppose I misspoke at 100%, since children do exist. But the crux of the matter is that they are still requesting vaccine verification for most passengers, and denying adults based on vaccination status. Which from my understanding, is not allowed via Florida law. So that leads me to believe Florida is looking the other way in these scenarios.

they are not 100% vaccinated cruises…….Well Celebrity is 95% so I suppose that’s not exact, but it’s per the CSO.
But Carnival is definitely 100%. On July 4, the company sailed from PortMiami on the Carnival Horizon, at 100% vaccinated according to a couple of articles I found. They’ve got another one in Port Canaveral that went out on the 31st that had a vaccine requirement as well.

I mean it’s a bit of a open secret at this point that Florida isn’t penalizing the cruise industry. Both Carnival & Celebrity have been doing full vaccinated cruises out of Florida to no fines. Seems like they’re just doing fully vacced cruises and Desantis is looking the other way.

It would be nice if they were to decide that with these cruises now vaccinated only that pre-cruise testing is no longer required for cruises that have stops in USVI.
That would be nice, but unfortunately the delta variant is going around and the vaccinated can still get it. Especially in Florida where a ton of ships are going out of.
They probably want to be relatively assured that no one was delta going on.

We’re supposed to be on the Symphony on Aug 7. Chances are low I suppose now that we’ll be going. I’d really appreciate it if they would just cancel on us so I can make separate plans.

We’re always a huge fan of the unlimited dining plan. It would be our first time on a 7 night on an oasis (symphony) in August. Here’s hoping I can take more pictures of food from that cruise! No idea if it’ll actually go off.
Seafood pasta w/Salmon on top from Jaimie’s
Full Lobster from HookedI believe this was the prime rib in the Main Dining Room.
Herb Crusted Salmon- 1

All pictures were taken on the Navigator of the Seas in 2018/2019
the Lamb Chops I got at the Jamie’s Italian
Duck in the main dining room, was fantastic
The Charcuterie at Jamie’s is fun
Some Sushi that we got for lunch at Izumi
Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Here’s hoping our August cruise actually sails.

What are your Favorite Cocktail(s) on board

Posted
Our favorite drink on board is the BBC. We heard about it from another passenger when we were on Royal Caribbean.
I believe the recipe is Baileys, Banana Liquor/syrup mixed into a pina colada.
Absolutely fantastic drink. I order so many onboard. Other than that, Frozen Mojitos/Coconut Mojitos
