Any single drink under $20 with alcohol is included in your count of 15, including spiked coffees.

    ย

Doubleshots cannot be ordered under Cheers, but will count towards your alcohol limit of 15 regardless.ย  (Not sure if counted as one or two drinks.)

    ย

Buckets cannot be ordered - similar to Doubleshots - also not sure how they count.

    ย

Unspiked coffees, water, etc are not included in the 15 count.ย  See the Cheers page on the Carnival website.

    Great answer!

When we cruised in August, my wife and 18 year old son went to the muster station, while I was taking care of some reservations.ย  I showed up at the muster station about 30 minutes later and was informed they had no need to see me, as my wife and son had already taken care of the requirements for our cabin.ย ย

    ย

So not everyone has to stop by the muster station (or at least on my cruise they didn't).ย ย ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, that's a bit scary lol

So no mandatory video?ย  Go straight to muster station and that's it?ย  Nice.

Weeeelllll, technicallyyyyy, you're supposed to watch the video in your stateroom and then go to your muster station for a life jacket presentation, but most rooms aren't even ready til 130 so I don't see how that's expected. Just go straight to your muster station and you'll be good to go.

Newbie question. ย We signed up for cheers but i know your room keys get delivered to your room. ย How do you get a drink while waiting for the cards or can you?

Board ship, walk to bar right in front of you, show boarding pass, order drink, enjoy!

This. Plus, you will be limited in getting drinks until you've completed the muster.

I don't think that's correct, unless is relatively new?

No, 3 bottles of wine and 1 12 pack of soda. Or, 4 12 packs of soda. Or, 2 bottles of wine and 2 12 packs of soda. Or, 3 12 packs and 1 bottle of wine....you get the idea...

    Not that hard:

    ย

3 adults, choice of a bottle of wine each or a 12 pack of soda each.

    ย

the kid only has a choice of a 12 pack of soda

Absolutely, 100% incorrect. 3 adults and a child is entitled to bring 4 12 packs and 3 bottles of wine.ย

  6. Make sure you do your research on location. My terminology is probably wrong so bear with me, but Carnival has a tendency to "upgrade" people from a good tier in a category to a bad tier(less sought after room) in the next category up. I.e.- from a tier 3 ocean view to a tier 1 balcony. Enabling them to sell a more popular room twice. I hope that makes sense. ๐Ÿ˜‹

  7. Will carnival already know that we're together or will I have to inform them every time we eat.ย

For example. The wife and I (same booking) made reservations at the Italian restaurant for 7 and so did my sister(different booking). We've done the whole cruise companions thing on the carnival website, so will they know we're together and want to be seated together automatically, or will I have to tell them?

I'd choose Jubilee, because it's a brand new ship (it starts sailing from Galveston next month) with all the latest Carnival has to offer. You might want to review the deck plans and various venues available on each ship from Carnival's website.

I just logged in to try and purchase a bottle of vodka to the room for our 5 day cruise in December and I could not find the proper link. ย When googling the topic, it looks like they may not offer bottles of liquor to the room for less than 7 night cruises? Can anyone confirm this?

They do not. I think you can order wine though. Wanna drink like fiddy cent?

Thanks everyone for your input. I was trying to determine if bottomless bubbles might be worth the $ now, but it sounds like unless we're on one of the new ships it's still the same process... stand in line and wait for a small glass of warm flat soda filled with ice. Two sips then wait 5 minutes and repeat.

Not worth the $100 for the wife and I. Full, cold cans might be worth it IMHO, but not as it is now.

    Kind regards

We typically get the BB for our daughter but most likely will not be for our upcoming trip in Dec. I will say that she always gets a fresh can but it is always poured over ice and never cold to begin with. What we recently discovered is that you are aloud to bring on additional 12 packs of soda from your port stops. If you bring a 12 pack at the start, and have 3 port days, that's 48 sodas per person. Ice available at the lido buffet. Might as well just do that. That's what we're doing.
