Hi, Quick question. In the beginning, some restaurants on Mardi Gras were free until further notice ( Chibang etc. ). Those of you that have been, are they still free for now? Looking ot book and wondering. thank you.

People cancelling cruises allows Carnival to cancel a lot of $600OBC.
That is OK. I probably won't be cruising for a while anyway.

I don't mind the protocols, they are free to do that. I have 3 teen boys not vaccinated and need to cancel 2 cruises. I cannot even get through for the last 3 hours. I would say many are trying to cancel.

I find if you call and get a message that they are too busy to answer calls, hang up and call right back. I did that a few times and got a hold of someone right away.

Rolling dufflebag is what we use.

For the price we are paying, I don't want to just sit on my balcony because nothing is going on onboard and not stop anywhere of significance. I have waited since 2020 to cruise I will wait a bit longer. We are cancelling our May2022 cruise on Carnival until this settles down. I get the mask wearing, and if it is the rules then people should abide by it. I don't like wearing masks, don't wear one in FL and I will wait it out until it is not required. Not my idea of fun. I will go to the beach for a week and sit on my balcony and enjoy the beach without a mask. *** opinions are my own***

I have cancelled every cruise since March 2020 and received a refund. The latest was my March 2022 cruise and I am about to cancel my May 2022 cruise once those protocols are announced. I have received a full refund in 3-4 days on my credit card. You need to call Carnival and talk to someone.
Carnival Cruise Line Removes Pre-Cruise Testing for Vaccinated Guests and Welcomes All Unvaccinated To Sail

Testing will be history in a few weeks. It is a steady transition. Why would someone need to test who is unvaccinated and had covid 6 weeks ago ( better robust immunity), but someone fully vaxxed a year ago doesn't? It was stupid to begin with and made zero sense, they know it, and it will be history soon.
