Me as well.  I'll take music on deck any time actually as long as the band is decent.

One hour a day enough but I enjoy that hour.

we changed CDs and I notice canned music back at pool so loud that almost no one there.

FYI. On Quest there has been a change of band this week. Musique4Soul going on holiday and is replaced by East Pearl.

Onward was to have Music4soul. But with Africa we lost  then in the war. They are changing bands and piano players every 4 or so werk. East Pestlok. Ut. A not compare. We all lose out.

I was just thinking about the first time I sailed Azamara and they had a guitarist singing on the sunset veranda during dinner.  It was great.  Used to have a harpist above the main lobby as well.  Both were nice additions that i haven't seen since.

If music isn't 'live,' I'd prefer not to have it.  And I don't want it 'live' on the pool deck, especially during lunch at the Patio.

Thanks-I’ve been rethinking this cruise because I doubt we’ll be back in the area again and it is something I’m really interested in seeing. We’ve been to Sidney and Melbourne before, and we’re at each of them for around 4 days each on our B2B cruises and not interested in spending that much time in those cities.

Have done blue mts,Hunter valley, gone to,a resort on a reef to snorkel.

  7. The latest news is we are short on fuel so we now get to Manila two days late. The real problem is crew..paid for flights and  hotels. My butler had not told his wife.favorite bartender acts like he not upset. But several of us would like to help out . Si I am going to write HD and HR how we can help out.

severslmguests we’re staying in hotels bd joining in HK. Not sure what others are doing but I am fitting 2.5 days into one.

this new effects crew with families ..before it was paychecks. Many crew will be cut and means no income.

Any info on how many people chose to stay on board the World Cruise around Africa?

Just talked to Hotel Dir on Journey who confirmed that Journey will dead-head it around Africa starting May 3

That is even worse thsn us with a few ports.everyone else gets ports . We get money but I like ports

What is your evidence for this, there are a significant number of other reasons why the offering is as it is. World cruisers have posted elsewhere that this includes in their view extremely generous compensation. I hope single leg cruisers are looked after as well

We were screwed! You are not here.

everyline I know grestnports from India and for some insane reason we are going to Dubai . We are missing  great pets

Really enjoying your reports from world cruise Bruce; we met you on Caribbean cruise January 2023 ( the Scottish couple!); just wondering if you have had update yet on the Red Sea part of your cruise - we are booked on Spice Route on Journey 3 May and still no update from Azamara. Loving your pics as well.

Not sure why when I post a what’s happening of our cruise it gets surrounded in controversy. We spend a lot of time planning and preparing for our cruises. I’m not responsible for those who don’t have a clue how the system works. We have witnessed folks on these segments that have missed dinners by the pool, entertainment events etc. just by not reading The Insider or not understanding what the event is. We ask to see menus in advance, we investigate and seek answers to our questions. We do our homework.

We share our knowledge with other cruisers. “Hey did you know you could do this?” We don’t care what other’s are having for dinner other than asking how’s that dish and maybe choosing it?

We spend a lot of time embracing the knowledge we receive here on Cruise Critic. Others have the same opportunities. it’s their choice but frankly I’m not going to loose any sleep over it.

Maybe the best way is to just not post what’s happening in the first place.

Bruce, you and Susan are having a wonderful time and I am enjoying seeing the WC thru  your eyes, I  do not go to all events but I am happy you are. I do enjoy pre ordering food. They still have no Dover Sole but got  my ghost cheese soufflé the other night. Funny, how I run into you at the last winery. We hit four and most of us felt the same on 3D winery. Lunch was great. Oh,I do ask Karen days ahead to plan the special dinners.Heads up,we will have an Asian Chef Table  next cruise  or could be the following me. But it is a new menu not what before.

That looks delicious!  You all are enjoying some amazing food!

The restaurant was busy so I would say people liked it.the tables I could see mostly  had fish. There also the new Chefs Table that is all seafood but the main an option. I think it is great ad more and more people have cut back on meat .The wines were very good also.

Currently in Adelaide and had a fantastic azamazing night last night - James Morrison quintet in the Adelaide Town Hall. Just great musicianship and James is a wonderful, humorous front man. Everything went very smoothly.

Apparently this is usually held in a large room at Adelaide Oval, but they had a cricket match last night and we were undoubtedly the beneficiaries.

We've been to many aza ok shows - this one was truly azamazing.

I got lucky Abd went to the Oval. the one since Covid.food and drink then show.
